  I usually don’t leave reviews, but these guys honestly deserve one. I had an issue with the door latch assembly on my truck where the door wouldn’t close correctly anymore. I decided to try fixing it myself and quickly realized it was way more complicated than expected because several of the factory mounting points and brackets were secured in a way that required specialty tools and careful removal to avoid damaging the surrounding components inside the door. I called around to multiple places for almost two weeks and most shops either didn’t want to deal with it or were worried about causing damage trying to get everything apart and back together. Even the dealership quoted me an insane price, especially considering I already had the replacement part. As a last option we stopped by Gerber just to see if they could at least look at it. No appointment or anything. The main technician there, whose nickname was Moose, came out, checked everything over, and immediately got to work on it. Before we knew it, he had everything apart, repaired, and functioning correctly like it was nothing. The entire crew was awesome from start to finish. Everyone there was super friendly, professional, and clearly experienced. You can tell these guys actually know what they’re doing and aren’t afraid to tackle jobs that other places avoid. What really stood out to me was how willing they were to help instead of just turning us away like everyone else did. I’m extremely grateful for how fast and efficiently they handled everything. Definitely a shop I would trust again and recommend to anyone needing quality work done.

  I’m honestly really shocked by the bad reviews. I was recommended to them by another company and they were AMAZING. After 3 weeks of calling many collision companies with most not returning my calls or the car shops saying they couldn’t/too scared to break the window….I called them with my driver window being stuck down in the door and unable to replace parts myself… they said come on over so they could take a look and the lead mechanic pulled out all his tools and replaced my window regulator right there on the spot…. And put my door back together even though all we asked for was help with gaining access to the regulator. No hesitation and replaced all the tiny little parts we lost while attempting to fix the window ourselves. I could tell he knew what he was doing confidently and very knowledgeable. Even took time to explain to us what we should do and not do when the passenger window decides to stop working. From here on out…. I will always call them first at the trolly road location even if it’s not collision related.

  Never even made it past the estimate phase of things so I can’t speak to their craftsmanship but the lack of customer care up front was disheartening. Made an online appointment for a free estimate as per advertised. To be told “we are far too busy to deal with that minor work” and then passed off to a local mom and pop before even getting in the door was probably a blessing in disguise. I guess not everyone’s money spends the same 🤷‍♂️ Edit and response to the Gerber reply- I have already spoken to someone from there (not sure why you say they’re attempting to reach me) and they apologized and recanted. Too little too late! Offered to take care of it and do estimate himself but I had already moved on to another place that took great care of me

  Took my truck here for a simple door and fender. After months and numerous trips out there to pick it up, still not good. First time there it looked like a 3rd grader put it back together and had wind and water leaking through the door seal. Brought it back and the bent the top of the door to get door to seal, causing the window regulator to go out, and creased the fender trying to get it to line up. After numerous months and trips and time off work to pick it up they left half of the plugs in the door unplugged…. I already had things lined up to trade the thing in. I got so tired of this place I literally traded my truck so I wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore…. Find a 5th grader who will repair your car better.
