- MDMadison DurrahAug 26, 20261.0I would not recommend this location based on my experience. A team member made a mistake on my vehicle due to what appeared to be a lack of proper training. When I brought the issue to the attention of the general manager, Shirley, I was extremely disappointed by how I was treated. Her response and attitude came across as incredibly rude and dismissive rather than professional or customer-focused. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. Unfortunately, my experience with the management at this location left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and provides better training and customer service moving forward.

Even when she is with another customer, she acknowledged my presence which really appreciated. I have seen her same behavior with other customers as well. She remembers your name even if you haven't been there in a while. Sherry treats everyone like she has known them for years. She is really delightful person and I will return to this location for my auto needs.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
