  We have used Jocassee Outdoor Center several times and had a wonderful, fun experience. While this time there were some disappointments, the customer service we received afterward was outstanding. The staff took the time to listen to our concerns, treated us with kindness and respect, and went above and beyond to make things right. It's rare to find a business that genuinely values customer feedback and is willing to work with customers to ensure they leave satisfied. Their commitment to customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the way they do business. Thank you to everyone at Jocassee Outdoor Center for your excellent customer service. We truly appreciate it and look forward to visiting again in the future.

  Amazing day out on Jocassee. Jessica was excellent helping us. We rented a tritoon, with dog package & raft. Boat had stereo, large Bimini top to provide shade, ladder on back to get in water. Boat & seats in excellent condition. Kids had a blast tubing behind boat. Had help at dock too, well run boat rental business.

  Had another fabulous day on Lake Jocassee thanks to Jocassee Outdoor Center. We have rented pontoons from them for years and been very pleased. Entire process was handled very professionally and courteous! Really appreciated answering all our questions, boat was ready with age appropriate life jackets waiting on board, parking was provided and very helpful and pleasant shuttle driver dropped us off and picked us up. Customer service and safety emphasis are excellent. Thank you for helping us make fabulous family memories!!!

  Great service and excellent equipment! We had a wonderful day on the lake thanks to their nice boat and highly professional, pleasant staff. I booked everything on the website, and when we arrived, the staff already had all the paperwork ready to go. They gave us a brief, thorough safety briefing and even had our boat ready ahead of schedule. The boat was in perfect condition, and we didn't run into a single issue. The entire family had an absolute blast, and returning the boat at the end of the day was just as smooth as the check-in. We would happily rent from them again!

  The boat was fine, and traffic for the lake was manageable. I had no issue with how busy they were, and I was expecting it to be that way since I had rented on the Fourth of July. My biggest concern was the amount charged for a single day. I had previously called two times prior (two months in advance) to confirm all that was going to be charged on my card. I was only made aware of the other half of the deposit and the fuel expended. Day of I get a $350 safety deposit and an $80 park pass for each of my passengers. In neither times being on the phone with the rental company was I made aware of that these charges were going to be put on my card. I had planned a trip with a church group, and had charged them all a flat fee. I was expecting to go out of my own pocket for tax and gas, but day of I was charged $430 without being made aware. I wouldn’t have minded paying either of those fees, but the issue was not being told that was going to be the case. I’ll continue to use there services, but this lack of transparency and communication is extremely frustrating. Especially when trying to put together a group boat ride, and have everyone chip in. Edit 7/9/26: Jocassee Outdoor Center had called me today and apologized for not letting me know about the charges. I appreciated the willingness to fix the issue, and try to make things right. The effort displayed by this rental service for reconciliation showed me how much they cared.
