  My fiancé and I were on our first rv adventure and we needed a longer hitch to make the ride smoother. After a rough night on the road, we made it to Camping World. Not only did they have exactly what we were looking for, they were able to fit us in same day, and right away to install! Morgan Riso, Product Specialist, Laura Zartman, Retail Manager, and John McLeod, Product Specialist, were amazing! They were helpful, informative, and made us feel cared for. Being a newbie to the rv world, it made a world of difference to have a great team helping us! Thank you Ridgeland Camping World, we will now will have a safe comfortable trip up North!

  John McLeod did a superb job helping me with parts I wanted installed on my RV. It was a large order for a washer dryer, new thermostats, new water heater, and some other items. He helped every step of the way and provided valuable information. Every question I had was answered to my satisfaction and he got the order handled so all the things I needed were ready for install.

  Purchased a unit from this location on July 16, 2026 where to start? Did a walkthrough I noticed the tanks level monitors were reading full. Mentioned it to the sales rep. The rep said the tanks should have been emptied. Well in fact they were full. Went to pick the unit up on July 18, 2026 the two new batteries they had installed were dead. They mentioned someone left the battery cut off switch on. The unit has two propane tanks they said they will fill them prior to pick up. Only one tank was filled. Here it is July 31, 2026 the a/c units are freezing up. The one in the bedroom is draining water onto the bed. The unit also has water leaking from underneath. Did a vin search on the unit through NHTSA it also has multiple recalls. Went back to the dealer to correct this issue they have been giving me the run around. Haven’t had the unit 15 days. I will give further updates as these issues continue.

  What an unexpected, but satisfying experience we had at Camping World, Ridgeland, SC. We stopped in about a month ago to just look around, then had a question about a particular camper. I was introduced to Myron, the General Manager, whose enthusiasm is infectious. He provided a quote for the unit I was looking for, explaining it in detail. I wasn’t prepared to purchase then, so he graciously thanked us for stopping in and to please call him anytime I may have further questions. I’m nearly eighty years old, have owned and sold many RV’s and had no real intention of buying another, but decided that after my conversation with Myron, we’d go for one more that would be a small, practical unit that we could easily handle. I called Myron to let him know we were coming back to look again. When we arrived, he introduced us to “RV”Will Trausneck, probably the most upbeat and knowledgeable sales associate I’ve ever met. He showed us the camper, answered all questions, then got with Myron to work on their price offer. There was no pressure to purchase and after a little more conversation, I agreed. You’d think we bought the most expensive RV they have, which it is far from. After I signed the sales contract everyone in sight was congratulating us on the purchase. Amazing!!! When we returned to pick up the little camper, Myron came out with bottles of cold water (it was 100 degrees outside) and to thank us again. “RV”Will was right there, too with his broad smile, ready to walk us through the intricacies of the camper. As great as the sales end of purchase went, there’s another member of the team that deserves a big shout out, too and that’s Austin, the finance and paperwork guru. He spent an extraordinary amount of time with us while I asked seemingly endless questions that he was prepared to answer. Yes, we purchased a small, rather inexpensive camper this time, but we were treated kindly, respectfully and with professionalism. We greatly appreciated the attention throughout the process. Kudos to Myron and his crew.

  My wife and I have owned 5 previous RV’s and our latest was a diesel pusher Motorcoach. Although we enjoyed our time in the motorcoach we were ready to get back into a fifth wheel that better suited our needs. After going to numerous RV dealerships and not finding the floor plan that stood out to us, we saw that the Ridgeland Camping world had a Montana and a Montana High Country that appealed to us. We took the 2 hr trip to the dealership dreading the stressful pressure and interactions that can be associated with the RV industry. I can attest that my preconceived ideologies were wrong with this place. Willie King was phenomenal in getting the 2 Rv’s ready for us to take a look at and answered all our questions in the process. We knew exactly which one we wanted when we walked in and once we told him the High Country was our choice he made sure to make us feel comfortable with talks and negotiations with no added complications and pressure. We worked out a trade with our Motorcoach that we felt comfortable with and soon met the Manager Myron who was exceptional as well. After making the deal we set up a date to deliver our trade and take home the new rv. After returning home to start cleaning out our trade in we learned of a terrible medical diagnosis of our youngest granddaughter and her being hospitalized. We explained our situation of not being able to make the delivery date. We were expecting kick back on their end and that was definitely not the case. Instead we received prayers and encouragement and they told us to take care of our family first and they would be there for us. That meant so much to my wife and I. The whole Ridgeland crew that we had met that first day from Austin and Laura in the parts dept to other salesman such as Mustafa to Austin Thompson in the financial dept and several others reaching out by text and calls offering prayers and encouragement to us and our granddaughter. Like I said earlier this is now our 6th rv and we have never experienced a buying process such as this one. If you want to be treated like family and a team that actually cares when buying an rv I highly recommend these guys. Myron from Byron is a top notch Manager and is trying to do things the right way!
