  The people here are so kind and helpful. My tires were far overdue for replacement and I had planning on getting them done tomorrow. But on the way into town today, we ran over a bolt. This was around 10:00am. I called Mavis Tires and spoke to someone in the call center. She was based in the U.S. and very helpful. She was able to get us scheduled right away. We were only 5 minutes from the shop when I got off the phone with her. They got us right in and taken care of. Awesome guys and awesome job done!

  I came here for the first time with a tire that was leaking while we were out running errands. From the start to finish I recieved excellant customer service. They were quick and efficient they have definitely gained a new customer. Scott was very friendly, helpful and made my Monday a little better.

  This was the second time I'd used their service. The 1st time to have a slow leak in a tire repaired and this most recent visit when I made an appointment to have a tire rotation for the next day at 10a.m. Both times I was kept waiting and although I was treated well on the first visit, this second time I was told it would be about a 40 minute wait even with the appointment. I waited more like 2 hours without any explanations and even though I was promised a discount for being a repeat customer, I was charged full price for the tire rotationbafter waisting my whole morning, again with an appointment for 10 a.m. I wasn't out of there until well after noon! I expected slightly better service especially as I am a disabled Veteran. I didn't expect or want pererrential treatment but I did expect at least to be taken a close to my appointment time or told it would be over 2 hours so I could reschedule. I hoped this would be my go to light auto repair place in my hometown, but I will not be back and I can't recommend the way they're doing business.

  June 18, 2026. Mavis Tire in Pickens, SC, has provided me with good service at a convenient location. I have purchased new tires, had flat tires repaired, and brakes changed at the same location. Thank you. June 25, 2026. I realized that my truck was leaking brake fluid when my daughter returned home last night. Mavis in Pickens was already closed, but I booked an appointment online for 8 am this morning, dropped my truck in the Mavis parking lot last night, and placed my key in the after-hours drop. They looked into the issue and repaired it within a couple of hours this morning. The repair was tightening a loose nut, and they did not charge me. Not the diagnostic or repair. Thank you, Mavis.

  Made an 'appointment' for a tire rotation for the following day and asked the price. Was quoted a price but told as a previous customer they'd work out a discount. When I arrived 15 min before my appt. They seemed surprised and told me it would be a 40 minute wait, so I sat down and waited. 2 hours later the work was completed and I was charged full price for the ' service'. I complained to their online 'main office' about this shoddy treatment and never heard back from them. Beware of these folks and don't take them at their word.
