Checked engine light, no help
Went in and immediately a shorter greyshirt (manager) woman was very dismissive of me. Didnt bother to greet me when I tried to ask a question and called for some kid in the back to come up front. "He will help you". So much for drop/ stop 30/30.
He was annoyed as he came around the corner and didnt say much but gave me a "I dont want to be here" look. I asked to use the FixFinder scanner as I work at an Autozone elsewhere. I tried to explain to him I could do it so I didn't bother him. "I got it." Was the only response, and semi aggressive. Tried to tell him where my obd2 port was on my vehicle so it took the guesswork out of it, and he only said "I know where it is..."
Okay. Fine. He yanked it out of my obd2 port when it was done, and shut my door and just walked inside. Didnt even get to turn my car off before he shut my door.
I had a feeling I knew what the code was, so as he went in, I went to the chem wall to grab some catalytic system cleaner. When I got back to the register, he just held out the printed papers from what codes I had, pulled the scanner off from the computer and walked off to the back. No explanation. No advice.
What if I was just a regular customer? I wouldnt know anything at all and it was very rude of him. Myers Beach is my home town, and I was just visiting some old friends when my engine light went on. I highly doubt Ill be back to this location.

Friendly people always so willing to assist
Jared (B....) really helped today. For the past two years I've been buying relays for my car due to a manufacturing issue, and yet no one has told me that I could return these relays when they go bad. Jared noticed I had purchased several within the last 2 years and said man you know you have a lifetime warranty on these you could return these, so that's exactly what I did. Also, bought some wipers and he installed those for me as well. Very professional, friendly and great service, thank you very much guys, I love AutoZone.
