  This review is long overdue! I've been having my oil changed here for the last year and a half or so. I've also had two repairs done here that have proven to be accurate, fairly priced, and dependable. The woman at the front desk, Carol, has been extremely accommodating and friendly. First impressions are so important to any business, no matter how long the business has been open. Had I been treated poorly (as with past experiences at other businesses), I would have taken my business elsewhere. But given Carol's great attitude and friendliness, coupled with the great service I've received, thus-far, I cannot recommend this place enough. Kinda afraid to say so much good about them, however - I don't want this place to get so busy I cannot get in with my car! Thanks so much everyone at SpeeDee on Northwoods Blvd. Thankful for you guys!

  Carol is a great hostess and makes great conversation. She also throughly explains what is being done & shows great care for the mechanics who are working diligently on vehicles in a timely manner!

  This place is a scam. I had an oil change with them prior to a cross country move because I couldn’t get an earlier appointment with my dealership. The technician forgot to close my oil drain plug. Thankfully, I managed to get a dealership appointment and they sent me video proof that my drain wasn’t secured properly and it was draining oil. I also noticed that the oil was draining in my parking spot. The dealership said to me that my car engine would have broken down due to my oil leaking. I had to get another oil change at the dealership. I went to Speedee to tell them that that was not acceptable and there was considerable harm that they would have caused me. I showed them the video proof and photographic proof of oil in my parking spot. They apologized and said there technician is new (There should be oversight for new techs) Anyways, I asked for a refund for my oil change sine I had to ti get an oil change a few days afterward. They offered me another oil change but due to me moving I said that I will not be able to redeem that. They then said they will check with the regional manager and call me back the day after. I made sure to double check that they have my correct phone number so that they could reach out to me for which they re-assured me that they had my phone number without even checking the computer system. Either way, I called them 3 times over 3 consecutive days and they kept stalling after 30 minute waits saying they’ll check with the regional manager and get back to me. The last time I called them a few days later after I had my cross country move to double check on the refund status. The store manager tells me that he has called me many times to issue a refund which is not true. I then tell him to go ahead and issue the refund. He said that I have to be there in person. I told him that I moved which and he said he couldn’t help me. I also offered to have a friend go to the store to get a refund and they refused the offer. (Mind you , he already knows that I was moving within the next few days from our previous conversations) I have literally never had a vendor tell me that I need to present in person to get a refund. TLDR, I would avoid dealing with this enterprise. They are dealing with bad faith. There technicians are untrained with limited oversight and they nearly cost me thousands of dollars in damages. Their customer service is abysmal.

  Carol is the greatest. All of the staff was very friendly,and helpful. Will be back. Did I mention, I also got a free courtesy car. So I could drive home ,and back when they got finished with mine. Wow, who else does that. Just the best place to have work done.
