  Spoke to their staff about a tire i thought i needed changed due to a nail. They all listened & were personable. They were able to work me in whenever I was available. We talked tire options-- they showed data & pricing for in house & other brands. They looked at my tire & decided it could actually be patched. They didn't go ahead & just charge me for a new 1. That shows great business ethics & that they wanted me to be a future customer. Ready to head back to them when I need new tires for real-- thank yall so much for helping me!!

  I originally took my car to the Mavis or rivers Ave, I was helped by Dante ~ the new general manager of the Dorchester rd store. Him and his team were FANTASTIC!! They went above and beyond helping to get my car safe for my children and I. Dante communicated so well, letting me know the status of my vehicle and continued to update me with things that needed to be repaired as the techs were working. Dante made sure to take care of us financially as well, he was very aware what I could spend and he helped me greatly to get my car fixed and my wallet not broken. 10/10 new manager and I cannot thank him enough for being so kind!!! Nino Fields (I believe transferring to a mt P store) was the head tech and general manager-when transferring. He was incredibly knowledgeable and worked extremely hard on fixing my car all day. He let me come to the shop and see for myself what was wrong. his team of techs- that do work at the rivers ave store- even gave my kiddos popsicles bc it was so hot outside. Nino also gave me continuous updates throughout the day. When it reached 5p and advanced auto stopped their part delivery, Dante made a special trip there to ensure Nino had the part for my car. It was finished at the end of the day because of their hard work! Nino and Dante worked as an amazing team and will be seeing them again soon!!

  I brought my truck here a few months with a vibration in the seat and a small shake in the steering wheel when you got up over 60 miles an hour. I told them I needed an alignment and a balancing. I waited for the services to get done. They told me that one tire was out of balance and sent me on my way only for me to have to return less than 24 hours to get the front end aligned because the issue was still present at high speed. Now my wife’s van has a steering wheel shake issue and vibrations at all speeds and I asked them to look it over. I am not sure what it needed. It may need an alignment or it may need balancing I wasn’t 100% sure. They aligned the front end I pulled out the parking lot and the steering wheel shaking is still there. I turned around immediately and the guy at the front looks at my tires and tells me I need new tires. Which he is correct, there is an uneven wear pattern on my tires, but that is something they should have noticed and seen causing my issue. The quality of inspections addressing the needs completely of the customer are subpar. With this be the second time I’ve taken a vehicle to this shop and to have to bring it back immediately or less than 24 hours later with the same issue i brought it in for will lead me to never use it again. I am sorry I never leave bad reviews but I dont feel like they do a good job of preliminary inspections and diagnosing issues. I would like some type of refund but I know it will most likely not happen.

  FIRST OFF I WANNA SAY *NICK* I APPRECIATE YOUR SERVICE AN KNOWLEDGE AND ABOVE EVERYTHING ELSE THE LEVEL OF RESPECT. REPRESENTING MAVIS ON DORCHESTER ROAD TO THE UPMOST. THIS YOUNG MAN WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME AND MY FAMILY GIVEN OUR SITUATION. HE GOT US TIRES WITHIN A TIME FRAME I CAN ONLY SAY OUT DOES MOST TIRE PLACES IVE VISITED. SO TO THE HIGHER UPS IN THIS COMPANY.THIS YOUNG MAN SHOULD DEFINITELY BE GIVEN THE RECOGNITION AND A RAISE. JUST SPEAKING TRUTH CAN'T FIND MANY WITH THAT QUALITY OF LEADERSHIP, INTEGRITY, AND RESPECT THAT TENDS TO SURPASS MOST OTHERS IN HIS POSITION. THANK YOU AGAIN *NICK* KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DOING.

  I pulled into Mavis thinking I was just going to borrow a little free air. Plot twist: my tire had apparently adopted a screw somewhere along the way. Before I could make my dramatic exit on my slowly offended tire, Steven at the front desk came walking out to my car, asked which tire i had the screw in and offered to patch it. Steven/Mavis didn’t just fix my tire they restored a little bit of my faith in humanity. In a world where everything seems to cost more every day, his kindness and willingness to help someone in a tough spot meant more than he probably realizes. If you’re looking for a Shop where they treat you like a person instead of just another invoice, this is the place. Huge thanks to Steven for saving my tire, my budget, and probably my blood pressure. Mavis went above and beyond. Turned what started as a crappy day into one I’ll actually remember for all the right reasons.
