I had been putting off getting my oil changed because of time constraints, but then I found out this Mavis stays open until 8:30 pm on Thursdays. This made it super convenient for me to swing by after work instead of having to take time out of my weekend. Ken was incredibly attentive and took care of me at the front. Joel did the actual work and was an absolute dream. Allen came out and made some recommendations without pressuring me into buying something I didn't need. It was an overall great experience. I highly recommend this Mavis store for any auto needs!

I called and spoke to Ken who was very polite and professional. I had a nail in my tire and needed a plug. They were able to get me in no appointment needed. The stores was clean and listening to how other service techs spoke to other customers they were very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to educate and converse with you the issues of your vehicle. I will definitely come here again thanks Ken and the techs for the hard work!

I went to church this morning and found my left rear tire pressure going down on my way to the service 30 miles from my home. I stopped 2/3 of the way there and put air in my tire only to find by the time I got the there the pressure was already down to 16 psi. When I came out the pressure was at 10psi I drove around the corner and filled it again. It had a valve stem leak and was getting worse. I drove about 2 miles down 501 here in myrtle beach and saw Mavis tire shop with the garage doors open the tire pressure was already down to 19 psi. I turned around hoping they could help me and the manager heard my story wrote up the paperwork and had my car brought in. A sign on the wall read repairs $165 per hr, this worried me! They fixed the valve stem pulled my car out and told me the repair was done. I went up to pay the bill and the manager told me the charge and I was so shoked when he said the charge was $.2.60. I will definitely be visiting Mavis tire shop again when I buy the new tires for this my daughter's graduation gift. Thank you Mavis tires shop for making this nerve wracking day into a relief and a safe trip back home from church this Sunday!

★★★★★ Ken at Mavis Tires & Brakes in Myrtle Beach, located beside Zips Car Wash, provided outstanding customer service! From the moment I arrived, he was kind, helpful, and professional. He greeted me with a smile, made me feel welcome, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I had an issue with a lug nut that had been cross-threaded during previous brake work at another Mavis location. Ken went above and beyond to help resolve the problem, and he took care of it at no charge. He was efficient, courteous, and completed the work quickly without making me wait. After several frustrating experiences elsewhere, Ken was a breath of fresh air. His positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help truly stood out. Mavis Tires & Brakes in Myrtle Beach is fortunate to have him on the team, and he absolutely deserves recognition for the excellent service he provides. If you need tires, brakes, or other automotive services, I highly recommend giving this location a chance. Ask for Ken—you’ll be glad you did!
