  Been there several times to look at campers, sales people don't engage, they just sit on golf carts smoking cigarettes and ignoring customers, decent looking store though

  The sales person Mike was good. The unit that was advertised for sale, was not ready. Not detailed, some parts not working. Items from previous owner still in drawers and frig. I would not post a unit for sale till it was inspected, cleaned, and checked for working conditions of all components. Unless you were selling as is. It was reasonably priced, had the above been done prior to the visit.

  My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Camping World of Myrtle Beach. We came in needing to downgrade our camper because we’ve fallen on hard times, and I’m currently pregnant, so getting into something more affordable was extremely important for our growing family. From the moment we arrived, Corey and Dan treated us with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect. There was never any pressure to buy anything, and they truly listened to our situation and what we needed. They went above and beyond to help us by giving us a higher trade-in value for our camper, lowering the price of the camper we were purchasing, and even waiving the taxes to make the deal work for our family. Thanks to Corey, our salesman, and Dan, the finance manager, we were able to trade into a camper that is completely paid off. That has lifted such a huge financial burden off our shoulders and given us so much peace of mind during a very stressful season of life. What meant the most to us was how sympathetic, empathetic, and understanding they were throughout the entire process. They didn’t make us feel embarrassed about our circumstances; instead, they worked hard to find a solution that truly helped our family. If you’re looking for a dealership that genuinely cares about people and not just making a sale, I cannot recommend Camping World of Myrtle Beach enough. Thank you, Corey and Dan, for your honesty, generosity, and exceptional customer service. You made a difficult situation so much easier, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did for us and our baby girl on the way.

  I wish there were 10 stars. My salesman was Corey Jones. After explaining my current situation and limits, Corey started checking Camping World's inventory. Corey found a RV trailer that fit my needs. He then went to work with the other Cory Humphreys to get the finacing side worked out. My credit isn't the best, but the finacing issue was worked out. Camping World also installed the hitch on my truck. Camping World worked miracles to help me. Everyone from top to bottom were great. When I say the top, I mean the top of Camping World. I cannot say enough to thank and compliment Camping World's staff from the owner to the service personnel. My gratitude is beyond being able to thank Camping World. I started my endeavor with Blue Compass. Blue Compass was nice, but didn't really make nearly the effort Camping World did. I had planned to look at more than one RV dealers. Unfortunately as nice as Blue Compass was, they were very disparaging of Camping World. That in itself was enough to make me look at what Camping World offered. Blue Compass didn't impress me with the RV offerings considering my financial situation. I even returned to Blue Compass after Camping World. I was basically brushed away and encouraged to go to my bank for financing. Blue Compass wasn't disrespectful or rude. Blue Compass just didn't make the effort Camping World did. I now own a RV that meets my situation. I cannot express my gratitude and thanks to Camping World. Corey Jones made sure Camping World provided the gift of a lifetime. The effort to provide what will be my home goes beyond words. I wish I could remember every name of the people of Camping World. Everyone that I encountered treated me as I were someone special person. I'm just a struggling person trying to step one step at a time. Camping World is a very special place not only in my life, but also in my heart. I'm not good in expressing myself, I hope these words meet the standard that Camping World deserves.

  While everyone was pretty friendly…..especially BEFORE the sale, this was a frustrating experience. We started out just wanting to look at some campers. You can’t just look without giving them a ton of information and they put a lot of pressure on you to buy. The camper that we actually wanted was not on site. So we were willing to put the deposit down to get it sent to that location. We were just visiting Myrtle Beach at the time and were heading home a few days later. We didn’t hear back from them until the next week, saying that the camper was on its way. They told us to be there the next day by 145. We waited about 45 minutes for a young man to do our walk-through. He was very friendly and polite. We knew way more about the camper than he did though there were one or two issues that need to be fixed but they were just tiny. It seems to be a major deal to just fix a tiny tear in the couch so we’ll probably just fix that ourselves. We had to wait for another 45 minutes to sign some papers about the walk-through then we had to go back to the main building to wait to finish all of the financial stuff. We waited for that over an hour and a half. I think they make you wait a really long time so that you’re so ready to go that you won’t pay attention to any little sneaky up charges, they put in your paperwork. They got us on that and we did not notice until the next day. That was our own fault. We had just been there five hours and were ready to go. Also, when everything was done, and we went to get the camper off the lot, everything was still wide open. The slide outs were open. All the lights were on. They don’t check on you or help you at all when you’re hooking up your camper. We needed a small plastic piece for our hitch that we had left at home with our other camper. We had to run into the store to purchase it. They told us they can’t help you with anything unless you buy a hitch them. Once you sign those papers, they are done with you. I don’t have high hopes of giving any hope from them in the future. They also talked us through the paperwork so fast and threw everything at my husband to sign so fast that we didn’t realize they had changed a few things on the paperwork that would be over $10,000 in up charges. I will give them this….they are good at being “nice”. You don’t really realize that they’re screwing you over. That’s just part of sales I guess. In the end, we were stupid but we did get a camper with a front living room that we wanted. We will just pray that nothing goes wrong with it. We’ll also talk to someone about those upcharges but I’m sure that will be futile. Ross and Dylan were nice and I like them, despite the fact they got over on us, lol. David was really nice showing us the camper. There are whole websites on Camping World experiences. Just do your research.
