- HLHector LopezMar 18, 20261.0Lefted a battery here to get charged overnight thats all that was need it ....atleast that's what I was told .......was suppose to come back the next day but because I work 2 jobs I completely forgot to come the next day so I came back with in 5 days of dropping it off ......the worker's that were there couldn't find it at all ....so the options were to get battery for free which it was not the correct one for my car or pay 130 plus tax with 3 warranty on it which is the correct one for my car l......The problem is why should I come out of pocket when all it need was a charge for the battery i had ?? If they lost the battery or threw away why not replace it ?? Even after I gave them my number and name ......Been coming here over 20 years

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
