He looked over the rotors and encouraged us to get front ones as well. Not only was he very friendly but he was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent advice. Also if it had not been for him we would’ve had to make another trip back because one of the front rotors ended up being bent! I would recommend this location and asking for Walter for any of your car needs!! 10 out of 10! Great customer service, knowledgeable employees and organized store!

I have changed tires in the past, but on this particular occasion, I could not get the damn lug nuts off because none of my lug wrenches fit! My 3/4" (19 mm) lug wrench was too small, and my 20mm wouldn't work either! He told me all about the Ford "swollen lug nut" issue and what to do about it.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
