  Pace was a great at his job. Helped us with our land rover batteries. Is was a job and he did it well. Thanks for your great Customer service. Now everything is back working with our new batteries.

  I’m updating my original review because this experience has bothered me for the past two days, and I can’t honestly leave my previous positive review up. I rarely write reviews, but during my first visit, Pacey was friendly, knowledgeable, and repeatedly encouraged me to leave him a positive review. I did so in good faith. He also mentioned that the pay was low and gave me the impression that he hoped to move into management. Looking back, I now question whether the main goal was helping me or gaining favorable reviews and improving his position. I also felt pressured into purchasing the windshield-wiper protection/replacement plan. At the time, I trusted his recommendation, but in hindsight, I don’t feel I was given enough space to decide whether I wanted it. This visit was completely different. Pacey seemed tense and acted curt and impatient toward the newer woman working at the front. After seeing me, he went to his car, which I recognized from our previous conversation, and then remained in the back of the store. The woman told me she was new and needed to see the part I was describing. She genuinely tried to help but couldn’t answer many of my questions. I asked whether Pacey was on break and if he could assist me briefly. I received a shrug and was told he had apparently already taken his break, but he never came out. I spent a long time trying to figure things out on my own while he appeared to be sitting in the back with his feet up. I tried going back there to get him but understood it was for employees only. I could also hear laughter coming from the back, possibly while he was on his phone scrolling. Even a brief explanation or a minute of assistance would have helped. The store also had a strong skunk-like or foul odor, and the atmosphere no longer felt welcoming or professional. I had recommended this business to others based on my first visit, and I now feel embarrassed for doing so. I recommend additional training in customer service, professionalism, and consistent workplace etiquette. Employees should focus on genuinely helping customers rather than appearing to pursue a personal agenda or speaking negatively about their workplace, coworkers, or environment. I’ve changed my rating to 2 out of 5 stars. The two stars are for the woman at the front, who genuinely did her best despite being new. Luckily, AutoZone was able to help me a bit more that night. I apologize for anyone who read my original review and had an experience like I did two days ago.

  Five stars for this location and specifically Pacey, who did a fantastic job helping me out. I needed multiple parts for two separate vehicles and I showed up 45 minutes before closing. He also tested my battery and replaced it under the manufacturer warranty. He swapped the battery out, cleaned my connections and did a fantastic job with all of it. That alone saved me a trip home and back to return my bad battery. Pacey was so personable, funny and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this store.
