Had to have a tire replaced on my camper while on vacation. They were very accommodating to order a tire for me and put it on as I left it. When I put it on my camper I realized I needed a second tire. Made a call and they had one ready when I arrived. The staff was very helpful!

I had a better experience this visit. The mechanics were able to fix my tire quickly and explained everything thoroughly. They were great.
The reason the review is not 5 stars is due to my past negative experiences at Mavis and the fact that the receptionist tried pretty hard to coerce me into making a 5 star review before I could leave.

I needed 2 tires very quickly and even do shop was busy I was able to drive away 45 minutes later with the new tires. The staff was accommodating, very nice, pleasant and respectful. The quality and the service exquisite! I highly recommend this tire shop and I’ll definitely return.

Horrible service. Would not recommend going to this location. The guy named Dan who was in the front was very rude and disrespectful to me from the moment I walked in. He stop down on me and acted like I didn’t know anything about cars. Asked him to be careful with my rims and he got very rude and nasty with me. They also didn’t balance my tire and now my whole steering wheel is shaking. Called and asked if they balanced it and he said yes but there’s nothing on my paperwork indicating that they balanced it. I don’t know why people who work at auto shops have to be so rude and disrespectful to women who walk in for service.

Im in murrels inlet for vacation with my family from Ohio. I was at the gas station pumping my gas and looked down and saw a screw sticking in my tire. There was a policeman at the pump next to me so I asked him if he knew of any tire places. He told me to go to Mavis just down the street. Spoke highly of them. I didnt get his name but a nice officer. I went in Mavis and met Josh at the desk and told him what happened. He came out to take a look at my Broncos tire. Told me it would be no problem and it should be done in less than an hour. Said I could wait in the waiting g room or there was a good restaurant next door and an antique shop across the street. I wasnt hu try yet so I went to the qntique store. Looked around for a bit. Then left. Checked my phone forgot I had the ringer turned off. Saw Josh had called I called him back and he told me I have locking lug nuts. I totally forgot to bring my socket for them. So I went to advance auto and bought the socket. Brought it back and he said it would be an hour or less. So by this time I was hungry so I went to the restaurant next door. And he was right. What a great restaurant. Brisket and Brussels sprouts. The best Brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. And three huge slabs of brisket. Awesome meal. As I was paying for my dinner Josh called and said my bronco was done. Great ti.ing and under an hour. So i went back and paid. Mavis does great work. I would recommend them to everyone. They were careful not to scratch my custom wheels. I. Super happy and glad that officer re commended Mavis. Thanks again. Hopefully I'll never see you guys again. Lol. But if I do get a flat or need any tires when im here on vacation again I'll definitely go to Mavis Tire. Thanks Joeh. I appreciate you.
