- TYTodd YoungbloodJul 2, 20261.0I just had one of the most slimey and dishonest interactions with a company in years. I recently rented a car from this location for 7 days. Since I was new to the vehicle I purchased an additional collision damage waiver for only 3 days. The employee explained that if I wanted to continue to have the damage waiver after those 3 days (which I didn’t) I would have to come back into the store to renew it. Turns out this was completely wrong and the CDW would automatically RENEW WITHOUT my knowledge unless I physically went into the store to cancel it. So after I returned the car I was charged over $200 and the store refused to do anything else about it. The employee I spoke with honestly couldn’t care less. Turns out this was hidden on page who knows what in small print of the rental contract that enterprise is using as an excuse to hide behind. Yes it’s my fault for not being a lawyer and extensively looking over every small pice of fine print in this contract. That being said this system is intentionally set up to deceive customers into paying more money and is made worse by employees blatantly telling customers the wrong information. Just be honest and upfront enterprise. Doing shady stuff like this might get you a few dollars up front but makes you loose loyal customers like myself for good. It’s how good companies fail.
