Oil Change Services

Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.

Tire Rotation

Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.

Brakes Service & Repair

Regular brake inspections help you to know when to service your brakes and can save you money by finding needed repairs before they become severe.

Mufflers & Exhaust

We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Wheel Alignment

Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.

Shocks, Struts & Suspension Replacement

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.

Car Battery Replacement and Installation

Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples. Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.

TPMS Sensor Replacement

There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

I went to Mavis expecting professional service and unfortunately ended up with a situation that I believe deserves the attention of both potential customers and Mavis management\. On August 6, 2026, I had work performed on my 2020 Ford EcoSport at two Mavis locations\. At the West Columbia location, both front tie rods and a worn front tire were replaced and a front\-end alignment was performed\. I then drove approximately eight miles to the Lexington Mavis location to have the front struts replaced\. When I delivered the vehicle to Lexington, there were no ABS, traction\-control, Hill Start Assist, or related warning lights, and my cruise control worked normally\. After the Lexington location replaced both front struts, that changed immediately\. When the vehicle was returned to me, the ABS warning light and traction/stability\-control warning lights were illuminated, the vehicle displayed “Hill Start Assist Not Available,” and the cruise control no longer worked\. I returned to the Lexington store the following morning, August 7, at approximately 8:15 a\.m\. I was told that a front ABS/wheel\-speed sensor had failed and was advised to replace both front sensors at an estimated cost of approximately $800\. No diagnostic codes, test results, or supporting documentation were provided to justify this recommendation\. After leaving the store, I inspected the front suspension area and discovered ABS/wheel\-speed\-sensor wiring hanging loose immediately beside one of the newly installed struts\. I cannot say exactly when or how that occurred, but the ABS\-related systems were functioning when the vehicle was dropped off and were not functioning when it was returned\. I also raised a concern regarding the alignment warranty from the West Columbia location, which I was initially told would not be honored due to the work being performed at another Mavis store\. I am not complaining about the West Columbia location\. My concern is specifically with the Lexington location’s handling of the strut replacement and the immediate failure of multiple safety\-related systems afterward, along with the lack of diagnostic evidence provided when additional repairs were recommended\. Between the two Mavis locations, I spent approximately $2,145 on repairs\. I am not asking to be reimbursed for legitimate repairs\. I am asking that the ABS/wheel\-speed\-sensor issue and related systems be properly diagnosed and corrected at another Mavis location, with clear documentation of the findings\. After spending approximately $2,145 with Mavis, I don’t believe that is an unreasonable request\.

Stopped by Mavis for an oil change and ended up having one of the best experiences I’ve had at a tire shop. The whole team was friendly, and everything was straightforward from start to finish. They got my car done quickly, kept me updated, and didn’t make me feel like I was being sold things I didn’t need. Austin, the manager, really stood out. He was professional, easy to talk to, and made sure everything was taken care of before I left. It’s refreshing to deal with someone who genuinely seems to care about their customers. I’ll definitely be back the next time my car needs service. If you’re looking for an honest shop with great customer service, I highly recommend this Mavis location.

I don't know if they're under New Management but I've been taking my vehicles here for over a decade And have never had much problems. In the past few times I've gone here although I've had issues. For starters, when I brought my wife's car in the hood was not latched completely when we got it back. Upon furUpon further inspection it was because they failed secure the oil cap. It wasn't until she got home that I realized what was going on because the engine sounded funny. Luckily we don't live that far away, But I'm more concerned about having the risk of the hood flapping up while driving and possibly blinding her or causing an accident. On top of that oil was spilled everywhere all over the engine bay and the hood because the cap was not on. I brought the vehicle back and they just corrected the wrong doing but it really makes you wonder how much common Sense some of these technicians have. I do understand that you guys have a lot of cars and a heavy workload, but if you can't latch the hood because you left the cap on the headlight I feel like that's something that's noticeable by multiple people. Great customer service but they don't really have the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed when it comes to certain things..

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the car actually drives better now but not after a repair refusal for a nail in the tire. If it's not smack dab in the middle of the tire, they will sell sell sell and upsell stuff you don't need. Pay attention to your vehicle. They're dishonest here. I know a lot about vehicles. Every time I come in they get your car up in the air and then they call you to upsell. Shocks need replacement cause they're leaking. That was a lie. Brake pads need changing. Also a lie had at least half life left. Tires need replacing with plenty of tread left on them. I went in for a nail repair. Ended up buying two tires for roughly $625. Was sold an alignment that I didn't need. " We recommend and alignment with every new set of tires." That's incorrect you don't need an alignment necessarily. After waiting 2 hours past the quoted time I called and said do I still need an alignment to which they said yes I do but I can head there because the car was almost finished. At this point they had not done the alignment I showed up 7 minutes after the phone call on my car was in the parking lot. I asked for an alignment report but they refused said they forgot to print it off and didn't save the data. The alignment was $120. I'll not be going back here unless Mavis contacts me to make this right. I've been going to this location since it was Frank's tires. Honestly I wish Frank's never sold out to these corporate scam artists. BEWARE FALSE UP SELLING. I also forgot to mention they recommended a fuel system treatment and a brake system flush. What a joke. Not all people are ignorant. I'll be waiting on my refund for the fake alignment. Never again
