  Honestly, I loved Tommy’s Express Car Wash in Indian Land. The whole place feels very fresh and well maintained. Compared to other car washes I’ve been to, this one looked noticeably cleaner and more organized, and for some reason it had a slightly upscale feel while still being affordable. The exterior wash itself was a great experience. My car came out looking really good. There were a few tiny sticky spots from aphid honeydew left behind, but what impressed me most was the customer service. The manager was personally checking in with customers and asking for feedback. When I mentioned the spots, he immediately offered to send my car through the wash again and helped me with the process himself. That level of service really stood out. Even though I was using a coupon, they treated me like a valued customer and made sure I was completely satisfied. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience. Overall, I had a really positive experience and will definitely be coming back here from now on. Highly recommend Tommy’s Express Car Wash in Indian Land! You will love too

  I’m not overly thrilled with the cleaning or drying ability of this location. Bugs are still present on my bumper, lights and grill after the wash. The water smells rancid. The back of my suv doesn’t get rinsed well enough as when I ope it there is soap all inside the tracking. The vacuums work. Make sure you bring your own drying rags unless you want to pay for one. The guys are nice! I have the monthly subscription for their best service but seriously rethinking my subscription.

  $12 for the cheapest (not even that good of) wash. This place will be out of business soon.

  I visited this car wash for the first time. I can’t say anything bad about the car wash or the attentive staff. However, I was disappointed that the rubber floor mats were likely washed with just water, without any cleaning agents, as there was no visible difference between the washed and unwashed ones. The vacuum is not powerful, so I’ll have to go to my "old, trusted spot" to vacuum the car again. The sunshades offer absolutely no protection; working under direct sunlight is very uncomfortable.

  Stopped by 6.5.2026 roughly as they open. Its a car wash and nothing more or less really. Its new so still clean looking overall so time will tell how this ages. Got a few points to talk about. Price: Price per was is in line with Sam's Wash which we have 2 of already so on par BUT with Sam's Wash you get a code to use within 3 to 4 days to wash again but Tommy's does not. With that Sam's is 12.50 for the top tier wash but you get 2 of them. Tommy's 25$ one wash. Memberships: They offer a membership that lets you do multiple washes in a day so the value of the membership to you will vary but they are reasonable. 42 for the works membership 35 Ultimate 29 Super 23 Quality Those prices are per vehicle with a 5$ discount given if at least 3 vehicles are on your account and plan. Quality of wash: I have a truck and car and my test was on my car this morning. I will say it definitly was able to get the car all over where Sam's tends to miss the back of my car on the trunk and license plate area. I purchased The Works (highest tier) for my car today and over all pretty good. I'm picky when it comes down to dirt and grime on a vehicle after a wash. So props here the car came out clean all around with no missed spots. I can't say I had my car overly dirty today so won't speak on the wash to clean very dirty cars/trucks. After wash: Vacuums ---- 10 out of 10 here. A single vacuum per station and not fighting 10 people using the same single vacuum like they do at Sam's. They also sell "detailing kits" at the vacuum stall for 5$ and seems it was QR code payable -- not sure didn't try. At first glance it looks like a small cloth and some chemicals for various surfaces. They do fall behind here with this as Sam's has recently put a spray nozzle that feeds glass cleaner for free. They do both have compressed air at a reasonable psi. Little weak for my taste to really clean with but I'm sure OSHA regulates this so can't fault Tommy's wash. They also have floor mat cleaners where you can use water or choose not do. They do have a large mat cleaner but currently down due to customer not paying attention. Overall: If I was a commuter every day to and from work and was able to swing in for a quick wash after coming back from work I would 100% stick with this spot and have a membership but since I'm once in a while driver (remote worker) I'll continue to venture to Sam's so I can get the cheaper cost double car wash. Its a car wash nothing special outside the others we have. Also I believe that 521 is getting another one as well which will make Indian Land have 4 total. Gonna have to stand WAYYYYY out to get all the customers. The price is the only part hurting them at this time for the once in a while wash crowd.
