  I stopped in because I had a screw in one of my rear tires. Tyler said it would be about an hour before they could look at it and seeing as the other places I stopped at were going to be twice as long, I stayed and waited. My car was done in less than an hour. Tyler was very professional from start to finish, came out and showed me what they found in the tire, told me how they were going to fix it and that it would be a permanent fix. I know this wasn’t a big job but to my surprise, there was no charge. There’s another Mavis Tire closer to my home but I will definitely travel the extra distance and go to this one the next time I’m in need of any tire services.

  I don’t take my places to tire shops a lot, but Brandon did a very good job on my car, patched it up from the inside out now the car is driving smooth as a baby. Chris the manager is outstanding as well for the customer service he also provided. Thanks a lot guys!

  The work itself appears to have been done well, my truck drives much better, and I appreciate that they got me in and completed the job the same day, even staying past closing. Everyone was courteous and professional, including when I questioned the final bill. My issue is with communication, parts selection, and pricing. I sent very specific written instructions with my 2016 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. I requested OEM Toyota shocks or comparable OEM-equivalent replacements that maintained the original TRD Off-Road suspension setup and factory ride characteristics. I specifically asked for the shock brand and part numbers BEFORE work began and asked to be contacted before anything beyond the shocks was replaced. Instead, my daughter was shown an approximately $1,360 estimate written on a Post-it with no itemized parts information. Without contacting me, the shop replaced the complete front assemblies, including the coil springs, with Duralast loaded assemblies and replaced the factory Bilstein rear shocks with Rancho RS 5000X shocks. My concern isn’t that the new parts don’t work—the truck drives well. The problem is that these were not the parts I would have chosen. Had someone simply called and said the factory-style Bilsteins weren’t available that day, I could have waited, sourced the Bilsteins myself, or knowingly approved the alternatives. I was available by phone specifically for questions like this. The pricing made this more frustrating. The invoice charged $259.99 EACH, or $519.98 for the pair, for Rancho RS 55319 rear shocks, plus $125 labor. Afterward, I found the exact same RS 55319 shocks selling through major retailers for roughly $80–$90 each. I understand shops mark up parts, but approximately $520 for a pair retailing around $160–$180 combined is a very substantial markup—especially when I specifically requested the brand and part numbers beforehand and wasn’t given them. The final bill also initially came out in the $1,600 range despite the estimate my daughter had been shown being approximately $1,360 plus tax. To their credit, the advisor listened when I questioned it, reviewed the pricing, and made an adjustment. I ultimately paid $1,481.83 including tax. The workmanship, turnaround time, and courtesy were good. My three-star rating is because I gave clear written instructions designed to let me make an informed decision about the parts going on my truck, and those instructions weren’t followed. If specific parts or brands matter to you, I strongly recommend insisting on a fully itemized estimate with manufacturer names and part numbers before authorizing the work.

  This place was much better when it was NTB. Since being acquired by Mavis, they have fallen off considerably. They also solicit these 5 star reviews heavily so I would take them with a grain of salt. There are a bunch of kids working in there who honestly don't seem to know what they're doing. I bought tires here for my son's car about a year ago and paid for a wheel alignment. I never got a printout of the alignment. Mavis offers free rotations when you buy their tires. We came in for a rotation back in February. The car was up on the lift for almost an hour. Finally got the car back without incident. A few weeks later I notice the TPMS light is blinking. Unfortunately my son never mentioned anything, so I couldn't really say anything to Mavis about it. The car is 3 years old but just out of warranty and I don't want to spend a couple hundred bucks to fix a useless TPMS system. I cleared the light with an OBD scanner a couple of times but it kept coming back. Now I need an inspection, so the dash lights need to be cleared. So I brought it back to this Mavis for another rotation, to see if the light would be fixed during the rotation. I never mentioned the light, and neither did they. But they told me I needed brakes all around and recommended a wheel alignment because the tires are unevenly worn. This tech looked like he was 5 minutes removed from middle school. I mentioned I got an alignment when I bought the tires, and he says they only last about 3 months. That's the best one I've heard in years. I don't know how long a wheel alignment generally lasts, but when a car isn't driven hard or sustained any front end damage (this one isn't / hasn't) then rule of thumb is to get one every time you change your tires. I asked if they keep all customer records on file and he said that they do. So I asked for a printout of my alignment that I paid for when I bought the tires and he couldn't produce one. So - either they ripped me off last time, or they're trying to rip me off now. I took my car and went straight to my mechanic for an inspection. 1) my $300 Michelins aren't unevenly worn at all. I've had them rotated twice since I bought them and they look perfect. My alignment is also fine - I had my mechanic check it. Yet these crooks wrote on my paperwork that I refused an alignment, which could come into play if I ever make a warranty claim on the tires. Watch out with these guys. 2) During my inspection, my brakes were checked and they were fine. Both were less than 50% worn and had plenty of miles left on them. The Mavis "mechanic" told me the front was about 70% and the rear was 80% worn. 3) My tire light went out, but the system isn't working properly. These guys reprogrammed it to measure a different unit (bars vs PSI) and I can't override it. TPMS programming is a simple step in a tire rotation and the youngsters working in this shop messed it up twice. This shop has dishonest, inexperienced staff. I always wanted to give the NTB that was here my business because the owner was a great guy. Too bad corporate greed caught up to this place. Be careful if you take your car here. I won't be anymore.
