  I rented a car there so that I could visit my grandson on his birthday. Lala who checked me in helped me get a fantastic vehicle that will surely impress my little grandson on his birthday. She also saved me from the wrath of my wife by getting me out of the rag top jeep that I was booked for in the middle of a heat advisory... I'm grateful, my wife is grateful, and Lala saves the day. I will absolutely recommend this place to anybody and everybody who needs a car rental. Thank you Lala

  The staff at Alamo were exceptional through the process. Staff always greeted me in a friendly manner throughout the process leaving a lasting impression of service and great experience.

  Alamo at GSP service was EXCELLENT! Seamless. However, the car that we rented (2026 Chrysler Pacifica Limited) had some serious (dangerous) flaws. It will roll (forward or backward) until the transmission "catches". This makes parking very scary in hilly topography. Additionally, the accelerator is like a light switch (either full on or totally off) until you depress it about one third to one half way. The transmission "fishes" for gears an unbelievable amount so it is either "bogging" or "redlining." We also had a very dangerous "phantom braking incident"! Note, that I have owned Chrysler Pacifica's in the past, and have rented several as well, and none of them did these things. I am not sure why Chrysler has decided to "tune" them to be this way, but it was a HUGE mistake IMO. Alamo should reconsider its minivan offerings.

  Vehicle that we reserved months in advance was unavailable when we arrived at our scheduled pick up time. Staff was unhelpful and couldn’t tell us when to return. They offered to call when the vehicle was available, but we never got a call. We went back to look and saw one of the vehicles in the garage, and so we asked if we could take it and they said yes, after just having told us us that it still wasn’t available.

  Made a reservation for a convertible that was not honored, was told there were no convertibles left despite making the reservation long in advance. Attendant was rude and dismissive throughout the experience. Upon attempting to return my vehicle, my drop off was not processed, as the attendant, same as the first instance, refused to do it claiming she was busy. I photographed my car to prove I had dropped it off, and at nearly 4 AM six hours after I dropped it off the return was processed and I was charged an additional $130 for a day long extension. Called customer service and was told they could not refund it and they would notify the branch I was at two processed the refund, but haven’t heard anything back in two days. Worst rental car experience I’ve ever had.
