My neighborhood is impassable, due to down powerlines and tree's. QT at 4701 has let me park and stay in their psrkinglot. And they've helped at least keep me hydrated because of didn't have cash, and cards were inoperable. I love these people. They are caring ,friendly, people that deserve a huge pat on the back for everything their doing for the company, and their community. THANK YOU STORE#4701 FOR EVERYTHING... WE LOVE YOU.

I was hired on with QuikTrip here recently and began with my training, it didn’t last very long. I was being trained at the store on Augusta Rd in Greenville. They had me work one day, then I was off for 8 days straight. My first day back which would have been considered my second day of training, I had broken one of the Roller Grills. What happened was my female trainer walked away for a few mins. MIND YOU it was only my second day and I had been off for 8 consecutive days in a row before this. I had forgotten where I was supposed to lay that crate of buns when adding fresh buns into the drawer beneath the roller grill. Well, I was placing buns into the drawer and all of a sudden heard glass shatter. I looked up and realized that where I laid the buns propped up under the rolled grill caused it to slide and one of the grills fell off and was completely broken. Had my trainer been with me, that probably never would have happened. Yes, accidents do happen. She also mentioned to me how it was a 10 thousand dollar grill. Which really she was at fault for that because when asking me to add some more buns knowing it was my second day back after 8 days she didn’t refresh my memory about anything regarding it. No, I didn’t get in trouble but after that happened I felt a shift in her attitude towards me. A complete 360 turn around in how I felt like I was being treated. That’s just one of the issues that occurred. The next thing on my list is how my trainer took notes on me throughout the day and would do a 1 on 1 with me at the end of each shift. Well during that time we’re made to sign papers of whatever is wrote down. Going down signing things I was asked to sign on the left of the paper I seen ( social media/ texting ) beside it was a Y which meant yes. No I wasn’t required to signature that part but had remembered earlier in that day I had to sue the restroom I had an upset stomach that morning. Later that afternoon, I needed to use the restroom again and she made the comment to me with an attitude all over her face that I didn’t need to take 10 minutes in the bathroom this time. So when I seen that she marked a Y for me being on social media/ texting I automatically knew right then and there that she assumed because I apparently was in the bathroom too long that morning ( which I wasn’t ) that she was trying to say that’s what I was doing because when out on the floor or on my shift all together my phone was never brought out. Then, Working up on the register with my trainer I felt like I was continuously looked at and talked down too like I was stupid just as I was looked at when it came down to our 1 on 1 talks at the end of each shift. As far as the training on the register I did have some difficulties with the counting change and giving money back because other places I have worked at are more advanced and their registers tell you how much you’re supposed to give back, as for QuikTrip there’s do not. I have a learning disability when it comes to Math and I felt I was discriminated when it came down to this manner. I worked one shift prior to my last day of training in which I was ultimately discontinued for training. The shift I worked prior to my last day of work I met with the corporate manager Ryan, I could tell from the way he was talking to me they already wanted to let me go and they gave me one last shift to work before they decided what they were going to do as far as me and keeping my job with QuikTrip. I already knew then I wold be fired when I came back for my last day of work. So when it came to the end of my shift that day I told my trainer I wouldn’t be coming back because after she had her talk with me, I knew I was being let go. I did not give up and I did not quit no matter how much I was criticized and felt like I was being talked down on ( which I was ).
