I had an amazing experience working with this company.
I have a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV Hybrid that threw about five different warning lights all at once. I googled the lights and found that they were likely transmission lights, and to avoid driving the vehicle unless absolutely necessary to avoid further damage to the transmission.
The next morning, I brought it to the nearest mechanic I could find, which was Your Honest Mechanic in Easley.
These people (NOT Greenville Transmission Clinic!) quoted me $14,000 for a new transmission, and even tried to make it sound reasonable and tried to talk me into it. I declined, and decided to bring my Subaru to an actual transmission shop before making a final decision on what to do with the vehicle.
This brought me to Greenville Transmission Clinic, and I'm so thankful that they were the shop I ended up with.
The mechanics here told me that I needed a new valve body assembly for my transmission, and quoted a fraction of the price that Your Honest Mechanic gave me.
They got my Subaru back to me within four working days from when I dropped it off, which was impressive since they had to order the parts and do extensive work on my vehicle.
The people at Greenville Transmission Clinic were extremely pleasant and easy to work with, they answered all of my questions and were very patient with me. I really appreciate that they either answered my phone calls (which were many) or called me back if I left a message. They went out of their way to work around my schedule so I wasn't stranded without a vehicle, and gave me grace when I couldn't pick my vehicle up immediately after it was repaired.
My Subaru is now running like a dream, and I even have a very good warranty from Greenville Transmission Clinic that gives me great peace of mind.
I can't thank GTC enough, and highly, HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that needs transmission work done!

Such a great experience with the folks over at Greenville Transmission clinic. We brought our classic 1966 Mustang there for diagnostics and to possibly schedule for repairs or even a transmission replacement. The owner, Tim, spent over an hour diagnosing it and explaining the things he thought needed to be addressed. The transmission was not the problem and he referred us to another mechanic. We truly appreciate his honesty and willingness to take the time with us. I would highly recommend them if you need transmission work done!!!!

todays cimputer systems on cars are all tied together. the complaint is shifting into 2 nd gear hard. its obvious these people dont have the proper diagnostic equipment to figure put why its shifting wrong. its a 178.00 waste of my money. all these people are is part replacers. they need deep diagnostic equipment to show the problem and to correct it even though ots not the transmissions fault. i have a mechanics degree.
thetes nothing worse to a non educated customer than bringing in a vehicle to get a transmission problem fixed jyst to be charged for a part and a diagnostic fee. i do understand the delema they are in. i as a person that works on cars change the oil, lwave hand prints all over the hood, inside and pil on the manifold to drip on a driveway, stink as well as a gand tightenwd oil filter that jiggles loose causing engine failure. my point is....the shop needs to fix it. next time ill just take ot to a shop.

Tim Jacobs, the owner, is the finest transmission man in Greenville. He and his staff checked out the problem I was having with my '04 Ford Ranger, found the source quickly, and repaired it. The truck has never run better or shifted smoother! This is a great shop run by a great family.
