  Went on got cabin and air filter. One was in stock the other was ordered and I went back a few hours later and picked it up. Very helpful got me what I needed.

  Dude at the register was not very unhelpful. Somehow a bolt fell out of my brake caliper and I managed to limp to this as the nearest automotive parts store. The system claimed the they had a part, which I was told to just go look for and did find, and was obvious to me (and anyone who works on cars) the wrong bolt the threads were different and different lengths. This is already pretty concerning because if I didn’t know any better I’d have destroyed my calipers trying to install it. Luckily do I know better, but what if I hadn’t? And then made zero effort to help me locate anything to get myself home and in fact claimed there couldn’t be anything else. No effort was made to assist me in figuring out what size it was, which anyone who knew anything should know you can do, or to offer they do actually have stray bolts in stock that might work. I did make it clear I didn’t care if it was perfect I just needed something that would hold it in place long enough for me to get home. He said there wasn’t anything and just kinda shrugged. After about 20 minutes of looking I did locate something that isn’t right but was good enough to get my brakes in one piece and back home… in no part even remotely helped by the staff. I could hear them being snarky about me while looking at parts just to fix it and avoid getting my car towed and could get home. Which I know how the automotive industry is and the culture is trust me I know but I felt it was still kinda a bad attitude. I did in fact locate a bolt that was the same diameter and thread and had to get a jam nut to keep it from being too long but good enough to get home. Frankly it’s not too bad, it’s a perfectly fine temporary fix to take a couple minutes down the road. And someone who knew their stuff and gave any single care about it would have told me about immediately. But they didn’t. They tried to sell me something that would damage my car then claimed there wasn’t anything else. All I was trying was to do was get something good enough to get home. Which was all I was trying to do and made abundantly clear. If the staff knew enough or cared enough they’d have made more of an effort than to just shrug. If you’ve got any choice, don’t go here these people don’t know what they’re doing and are not even kinda helpful. Idk if it is because they don’t know anything or if they’re just being jerks. Either way. Inexcusable and potentially very expensive and potentially dangerous to rely on them. And I wouldn’t have said anything except the snark and the trying to sell me the wrong part with no interest in helping once called out (and to me didn’t seem to have any recognition why it was wrong or why that’d be a problem). I feel like that’s really dangerous. If someone didn’t know any better they’d really have a problem. And that’s not good.
