I had a tire that was losing air, so I pulled in to Mavis Tire on Jim Wilson Road in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Tim greeted me with a smile. They got my car right in, no waiting. They fixed the tire and gave my car an overall quick check. I was shocked at the great price!!!
Also, while I was waiting, I saw some of the employees emptying garbage, wiping off counters, etc.. No one was sitting around doing nothing. The place was clean as a whistle. I highly recommend this shop and absolutely will go back there!

I had gotten to where I was comfortable coming to this Mavis for service. I particularly liked Kathy and the gentleman who tended to be at the front desk each time I came in for service. I just had service yesterday and the experience was a complete 180° turn. The gentleman working the front staff had an attitude from the get-go and even decided to throw a little bit more attitude into it when he tried to upsell me on things I didn’t need, before then going to try to upsell some other woman on services she didn’t need because she was leaving town the very next morning on a plane.
A particular tool that Kathy told me about in the first place was almost left behind because they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. “Nothing was in the bag.” Yes it was because I gave it to you to get my tires off in the first place.
But since they didn’t put the tires on the way I asked them to, I told them I would need the tool so that I could get my tires off and switch them myself.
I don’t think I’ll be going back to this particular Mavis again at minimum. If I had the equipment to change my own tires, I would do that myself.
I think the local small businesses need to be considered more these days before franchises.
