She went to the store to replace it and the mgr said they didn't carry that particular battery at the store although she had the receipt where she purchased it there. He would NOT make it right! She recalls the young guy changing someone else's battery beside her vehicle and now believes he installed that persons old battery. You decide what happened....Ladies, be careful going here alone. They clearly scammed her and it's simply not ok. She's out almost $200 and didn't deserve this! I'm angry. Calling corporate.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
