  Had 2 new tires put on and an oil change without an appointment. People were really friendly and service was great. Glad the small community of Elgin has a Mavis now. Their ad says they will match tire prices and they did! Thanks Mavis

  I made an appointment on a Friday to have my tires checked/balanced because of a shimmy. They were prompt, super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They worked on my vehicle quickly and I left feeling like I was a valuable customer, not just a picky owner with a little shimmy problem. My Palisade drove better on the way home but later when I drove on the highway, I notice I still had a shimmy between 60 and 65. So, I went back on Saturday morning, without an appointment. Again the staff, especially Chelsey, were right on top of things. She spent the time, we talked again about the problem and this times after a few more details from me. (The tires had recently been rotated, and I had hit a curb, rather hard, with the rear tire, we now felt had been moved up front) She noticed how the tread was wearing in a manner that could indicate I had damaged the belt but didn't notice until it was moved to the front. She first suggested changing out just that one tire, not going immediately to a full scale major expense. (As a retired person, I really appreciated that) But told her, I have all-wheel drive and knew that I must change all four at the same time. So we went to the computer and she found a super, I mean super, deal on Pirelli Tires (even she was shocked) and they had them in stock. She got my car right in and after a bit of an expected wait... I left with a jingle still in my bank account. I have road hazard life time warranty (also at a really great price) so no matter where I am, if I have a tire problem, it will be fixed. My experience with this Mavis Tires & Brakes in Elgin, SC was phenomenal... I will be going there always and highly recommend them. I'm sure Chelsey thought "it's all in a days work" but let me tell you, she is not a run of the mill employee.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t say enough good things about Mavis Tires & Brakes in Elgin! They are absolutely amazing and do GREAT work! Everyone is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about making sure you’re taken care of. And let me just say yes, I drive an hour and a half just to come here because Chealtsy works here! ❤️ Wherever Chealtsy goes, I’ll go! She is absolutely wonderful, trustworthy, and always makes sure I’m taken care of. Having someone you know you can trust when it comes to your vehicle is priceless! The quality of the work and the customer service are both top-notch. If you’re looking for a place that will treat you right and do the job correctly, I highly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes in Elgin. They’ve definitely earned my business! 🚗❤️

  Mavis, you’re going to have to get your stuff together. The new shop just opened in Elgin and I like to give my business local. I tried to call to get info on an oil change. Automated answering tells me to press 1 for tires and 2 for vehicle maintenance. I press 2 and it takes me back to the same menu. Hung up. Called back to try again. Same result. This does nothing to inspire confidence.
