  We've bought four vehicles from Herlong Ford now. Excellent customer service. Kim, our sales professional, is amazing. They don't nickel and dime with fees. Low Doc fees as well. They are our go-to dealership Everytime.

  I contacted this dealership regarding a van they had advertised on their website. Before moving forward, I called to confirm the pricing, and the salesperson verified the advertised price over the phone. I then requested a written estimate so I could review the full cost breakdown. When the quote was sent, the same vehicle was listed at approximately $6,000 higher than both the advertised price and what was verbally confirmed. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, I was told it was due to a “mistake” by Ford Motor Company and that the dealership was not responsible. I requested to speak with a manager, and several hours later received a call back. Unfortunately, the interaction was unprofessional—the manager was dismissive, sarcastic, and ultimately hung up during the conversation. This experience reflects a serious lack of transparency and professionalism. Advertising one price and then significantly increasing it after the fact raises concerns about deceptive sales practices. As a result, we will be filing formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau, and the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office Consumer Protection Division. I would strongly encourage others to exercise caution and verify all pricing in writing before proceeding.
