  I should have read the reviews. Came in with a small chip after waiting around a bit, I was told that the chip cracked further before the tech could even touch it. They then rescheduled me 4 days later with a 5 hour long appointment window. About 2 hours in to the timeline I called to verify my appointment because I had never received a text. The lady was very short with me and insisted they would text when they were on their way sometime within that window. At the end of the appointment window I began calling Safelite for an update I was unable to get in contact with anyone, even though customer support said it was available until 10pm. No one attempted to contact or reschedule me.

  Absolutely abysmal customer service. I initially scheduled my appointment on a day I took off work around April 26th just to get this done. and I get a call saying they couldn’t do the replacement due to not having a correct tool. I asked to reschedule on another day early May and they scheduled it the wrong day. I then rescheduled for May 18th from 8 to 1pm and had to take another day off work. The tech never showed up! I had to call just to find out the tech called out and the shop never notified me and waisted my time off again. Almost a month later and I still have a broken windshield. USAA needs to discontinue their contract with them.

  Everything was easy with them. I made the call lady was very nice and explained the process and appointment were set no problem . I received plenty of emails and calls to remind me of the appointment. Very convenient due to them coming to my job to do it. I didn’t have to take off work. They were on time very customer service friendly and explained everything. This is the 2nd time using them and if in need I will definitely choose them again.

  Self scheduling was great. Tech was friendly but seemed to take tech longer than expected to put door of car back together after glass replacement. Then he left scratches on exterior door panel and light hanging from interior door panel where the door wouldn’t shut after opening. Difficulties getting live agent for assistance. Not sure I’d gamble on using them again in the future.

  My windshield was installed properly as far as I can tell however, the drop-off and pick-up process leaves a lot to be desired. I dropped my car off before 8:30am as instructed and was told to please pick it up by 5pm. Well I stopped by on my way out of the city at 2pm and it wasn’t ready nor could they give me an approximate time, only told me to be back by 5pm. So I go all the way home and come back at 4:15pm and the car still was not ready. I didn’t end up receiving my car until 6:30pm. Had they communicated with me that it would be much later, I would have told them that I could pick it up the following day. I missed 2 other appointments all because Safelite would not tell me that my car wouldn’t be ready until after 5pm which could’ve easily been communicated when I came to check at 2pm. Time is valuable, please do better with your communication.
