They seem to funnel so much business into their location. And before going it gave me a false sense that it meant something positive. NOPE! The manager was conveniently not there, front staff is rude and workers are obviously overbooked with work. Read through the poor reviews and skip the chain store.

Leadership in this facility has zero clue what is going on in the business they manage. Field tech taking 4 hours to replace window, tell you to make an appointment at the shop for camera to be recalibrate, told it would 30 to 45 minutes. 3 hours later vehicle still sitting where I parked. No communication from leadership about running behind, then when told I was leaving to cancel my appointment they rush my vehicle in. I guess they don't like losing business but dont do anything

Glass replacement was good but everything else was terrible. Customer service front desk lady beats up my phone and text log 5x daily leading up to the appointment wanting me to confirm over and over again. Waiting room was tight and annoying, no coffee, no childs toys like they use to have. It was getting on 2 hours so I went to front desk to check on things and the black female receptionist put her finger up and mouthed "wait" as she was counting down her register. Place wasn't even closed yet. No techs were around so I walked to the side of the building saw my car was ready and walked directly into the shop where there was no one and grabbed my key and got the hell outta there.

I submitted a claim through my insurance company on June 5 and initially requested that the windshield replacement be completed by Auto Glass in Columbia, South Carolina. However, I was informed that they did not perform camera recalibration services and was directed to use Safelite instead through State Farm’s glass replacement program.
On June 8, I had a scheduled appointment with Safelite to replace the windshield on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. Because my vehicle is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems, I was advised that recalibration would be required and that the service could take up to three hours to complete.
The technician arrived yesterday morning and completed the entire replacement and recalibration process in approximately one hour. I know this because I was exercising on my treadmill and monitoring the time throughout the appointment. Upon completion, I was given the standard instructions not to drive the vehicle immediately and to avoid washing it for a period of time. I followed those instructions and left the vehicle parked for the remainder of the day.
This morning, when I entered my vehicle, I immediately noticed that the camera and mirror covers were loose and partially detached. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the attachment rails on both covers had been broken off (see attached photos). In addition, the suction cup marks used during installation were never cleaned from the windshield, and the trim/seal on the driver’s side was installed incorrectly and appears to be facing the wrong direction.
Based on the condition of the vehicle after service, it is difficult not to conclude that this was a rushed and careless installation. If the technician had discovered pre-existing damage, I would have expected that to be documented and communicated to me before leaving. Instead, I was left with broken interior components, an improperly finished installation, and additional concerns about the quality of the recalibration that was supposedly completed in a fraction of the estimated time.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the workmanship and overall service I received. What should have been a professional windshield replacement resulted in damaged vehicle components and a noticeably incomplete cleanup and installation process.
As a side note for other customers, I have since learned that you are not necessarily required to use the glass company recommended by your insurance carrier and may have the option to choose your own repair provider. Had I known that beforehand, I would have explored other options.
I am requesting that Safelite address the damage caused during this service and provide a resolution for the broken camera and mirror cover components.
