5 stars all the way around. Reggie was great to work with and very helpful in explaining the Sierra EV to me. I will be back to Jim Hudson in Columbia SC in a few years for my next one. Great job team!

I booked an appointment with the Jim Hudson service team for Tuesday (5/5) at 7am to run a diagnostic on my engine. Nicholas Cooper checked me in and said that he will have the vehicle back to me by Thursday or Friday.
On Thursday, I called for an update and was told that Nicholas was out but a manager would return my call before the end of the day. I did not receive a callback. When I followed up with Nicholas on Friday, he indicated that a technician might be able to inspect the vehicle by the end of the day. At that point, the car had already been at the shop for four days with no diagnostic work started. I advised Nicholas that if a technician was unable to begin work that day, I would pick up the vehicle on Saturday and take it to another service provider. He responded, “Sounds good, I’ll keep you posted.” I called Nicholas again in the afternoon and he did not return my message. I then called the main line at 3:30pm and spoke with Carol. I requested a manager to understand why the vehicle was not being serviced and was told that Russell Mitchell, the service lane manager, would call me back so I could understand. I never received a call from Russell.
I picked up the vehicle on Saturday without any work having been performed. I then took it to Hendrick's and they were able to service and return the car to me the same day.
This experience suggests that Jim Hudson schedules appointments without the capacity to honor the promised timelines. By booking customers and then addressing their vehicles only when time becomes available, the dealership creates unrealistic expectations and misleads customers. This practice appears designed to secure business first and perform the work later, which I believe is an unethical approach to business.

I went shopping for a replacement vehicle for my 2018 Chevy. I went to Jim Hudson Buick GMC and looked around, but unfortunately, they did not have the exact vehicle I was looking for. Xavier was my salesman and he went over all of my needs and wants. Since they didn't have my GMC Denali, Arcadia, he suggested I look at the 2024 Cadillac, XT6. At that moment, I never considered one, but he suggested I give it a try. I looked at it, drove it and considered buying it if it had all of the bells and whistles I needed. They had one, but it didn't have the 360-camera system I needed and wanted. After some time there and looking, I decided to look elsewhere. As soon as I left the dealership, Xavier called to tell me they just received the vehicle I was looking for. I still was a little unsure but decided to give him a try. At this point, they had made me a trade offer on my vehicle and worked the numbers based on my credit and down payment. He offered to bring the vehicle to my home and allow me and my wife to look it over as well as test drive it. After that, I was sold and I told him that if they could give me more on my trade and military discount, they had a sale. He went back to his sales manager and got approval for what I was looking for. I want to recognize Marc Rosario and Joe Kelly for working with me and Xavier. I never thought I would own a Cadillac, but today, I'm a proud owner of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 400 and was totally happy with the deal. Thanks again to Xavier and the whole staff that prepared the vehicle for me. I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime, but they made the process much easier without the haggling. I would recommend Jim Hudson Buick and GMC for your car needs.

Peyton and Joe were incredible from start to finish. From the moment we pulled up on day one to test drive vehicles all the way through completing the paperwork, the experience was top tier.
Peyton, as a newer sales agent, was so knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely willing to answer every question we had. And watching Joe support and coach him in real time to make sure everything was done right really stood out to me. That partnership alone spoke volumes.
What impressed me most was the level of care throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed or pressured, just supported and valued. And honestly, it wasn’t just Peyton and Joe. The entire team we encountered was just as attentive and welcoming.
