Took my car in and they said that it would only be 3-4 days to fix I needed my front bumper fixed they pushed back my finish date by a month and when I got my car back it was 10 times worse then when I brought it in, they also killed my battery. DO NOT USE THEM THEY SUCK also there communication skills are terrible

If I could give this shop zero stars i would. The people working in the back, doing the actual body work would be rivaled by a 6 year looking up the process on YouTube. On 6/22/26 I brought my 23 BMW X5 in to have the two passenger side doors and quarter panel replaced. After giving me completion dates that were pushed back three times I finally showed up to get the vehicle. The manager Jeff stated that he did the quality control inspection and walked around it before i got there and it was good to go. When I did my own inspection of the vehicle, I found that they ordered the wrong mirror cap meaning that the mirrors on each side were different. In addition, the mirror that they replaced wasn’t even screwed in all the way into the door. The brand new, newly painted quarter panel had a fresh scratch in it, and was obvious that someone used the body paint to try and touch it up hoping I wouldn’t notice. Grease that was used to lubricate the window tracks was smeared all over the inside of the car, the leather seats, the dash, the actual interior of the windows. The car was disgustingly filthy and was worse than when I brought it in. I was told to take the car and they would call me when a window that they also forgot to order came in and they would fix everything at the same time. Upon getting home, I noticed the hood didn’t look quite right. When I opened it up, there was a piece of foam that was supposed to be installed in the quarter panel that someone just left under the hood. Thankfully, it didn’t get sucked into the radiator fan and cause more damage. In addition, the hood was not aligned correctly because they failed to resecure the bumper correctly. Upon closer inspection, the two weatherstripping’s on both doors were installed incorrectly. One or both of the doors were not aligned properly causing them to rub on each other when opened and closed. This had already rubbed the paint on both doors down to the metal. Before I brought it back for them to finish repairing all the things they messed up, i also noticed that one of my headlights was out. The headlight was fine when I originally brought it in and when they unplugged it to do the repairs, somehow it caused it to go out. They refused to replace the headlight even though it was their incompetant techs that caused the issue and told me I had to take it to BMW myself to get it fixed. The quality of work was so ridiculously pathetic, that i insisted on my insurance adjuster meeting me at the shop to see everything before I let them touch my vehicle again. Even the adjuster was amazed by the lack of attention to detail, incorrect installations/repairs and poor quality control. Feel free to see all the photos for this review and unless you want your car with substandard repairs and more damage than when it came in, it’s a good idea to stay away from Gerber Collision, especially the Atlas Rd location managed by Jeff. Incompetence at its finest!
