  On Sunday, May 3rd, while visiting Charleston, SC from Charlotte, NC, I had an unexpected (and stressful) situation when I accidentally popped the sidewall of my tire on a curb while leaving a storefront. Knowing I couldn’t go far on a spare, I needed help fast. A kind stranger suggested Tire Choice, as it was one of the only shops open on a Sunday. When I called store #0748, I initially spoke with a call center and explained that I was just passing through and needed a single tire replacement so I could get home that same day. After some back-and-forth (and much frustration on my part), I was transferred to Eric Puente—and that’s when things turned around. Eric immediately understood the urgency of my situation. He told me to come in as safely as I can and said he’d do what he could, assuming they had my size in stock. When I arrived just a couple miles later, he greeted me in person and got technician J. Hanna on it right away. Luckily, they had the tire I needed, and within about 30 minutes, I was back on the road. What stood out most was not just the speed, but the kindness and honesty. They didn’t try to upsell me or take advantage of the situation—just straightforward, efficient help when I desperately needed it. I’m incredibly grateful I found this shop when I did. If you’re ever in a bind, especially on a weekend, this team will take care of you.

  Excellent friendly service! Got me right in, helped me find the right service for my car and even put on the windshield wipers I’ve had in my car for ages.

  I'm going to be honest, I only came here because I tried going to Walmart for an oil change and they didn't have any for my car. The service was friendly and the work appears to have been done well. The price was quite a lot more than expected and compared to shops such as Walmart.

  I ordered tires for my daughters Toyota RAV and had them shipped to The Tire Choice #748 in Charleston. My daughter made an appointment to have them installed. During the installation the technician broke one of the studs on the wheel. He advised that they did not have a replacement stud and she would need to go to another Tire Choice in Charleston. I immediately called Tire Rack and spoke to Recommended Installer Program Coordinator Allen Kidder. Allen advised that he would call The Tire Choice Corporate Headquarters as my daughter should not have to go to another Tire Choice, out of her way, to have the stud replaced. Allen got back to me and advised that The Tire Choice Headquarters spoke to the store #748 and my daughter simply needed to make an appointment and they would replace the stud. My daughter called store #748 and told her they could not replace it and she would need to go to another Tire Choice Store. My daughter then made an appointment for store #742 in Charleston to have the stud replaced. When she arrived at store #742 they advised the cost to replace the stud would be $100. I had her put the manager on the phone and told him that store #748 broke the stud and we were advised there would be no charge. Store #742 then replaced the stud free of charge. It is unbelievable that store #748 would not own breaking the stud and replacing it. It is also unbelievable that The Tire Choice did not have any records of information from one store to the other or any word down from corporate. I will NEVER use this fly by night outfit again.

  Had to buy new tire to replace flat - and car just had all new tires a year ago. Went to Tires Choice to get the same brand. They had to order size. Left rim Monday, went by Tuesday morning to get tire put back on car. Asked if they put the "donut" back, reply was that they did. When shopping for groceries next day, found they put the tire in upside down and the panels would not fit back flat. I'm handicapped, and couldn't turn tire around ---- so, back to Tires Choice on Friday for them to put everything back correctly. No apology for their lack of doing it right first time, just corrected it. Really, now I wonder is the new tire is on correctly and did they check the air in all the tires, as I requested. I found another dealer in town that sells Continental. When I need another tire, I'll spend the $336 with the other dealer.
