  I came to the Savannah Highway location after another AutoZone store on James Island sent me over for a battery terminal. They explained they didn’t have the part in stock, and that if they swapped the battery there, the corroded terminal would likely break completely with no replacement available. I needed both a new battery and a new battery terminal because the terminal was heavily corroded and rusted through. The experience with the manager, Terrance, was honestly disappointing. He wasn’t friendly or particularly helpful, and repeatedly insisted the terminal “wasn’t broken,” even though it literally snapped in half when David, who was very helpful, removed it to replace the battery. I was then told multiple times that “we don’t do labor here,” which would make sense, except the battery replacement already required removing the broken terminal. I wasn’t asking for major repair work. I simply needed the new terminal installed during the battery swap. Terrance also repeatedly questioned whether the other store had tested the battery, even though they already had. He continued insisting “we don’t fix things” while also trying to explain that the broken terminal was “just what it looks like.” Again, the part literally bent and broke apart during removal. Thankfully, the James Island AutoZone was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, so I do want to give credit where it’s due. The difference in customer service between the two stores was night and day. A little kindness and listening to the customer goes a long way, especially when someone is already stressed dealing with car issues.

  Every time I need parts for any '90s Jeeps, I have to travel clear across town to find the parts as the four stores near me don't carry most parts that I need including brakes, bearings, and seals, etc!

  I was on my way home to Savannah and the radar showed rain for my entire drive. My windshield wipers decided to quit working so I stopped and asked if anyone was willing to help me put new ones on - fully expecting a very kind no, not in this rain. But Kevin said he would do it and stood in the rain putting them on. They were not easy off and on wipers but he didn’t give up and got it done and I was on my way. Just want him recognized for going above and beyond his job duties. It was greatly appreciated.

  Had to windshield wipers since went here the guy was very nice and he helped us find the right ones and put them on for us every nice
