I got my oil changed and fuel filter replaced. Cost was 625.00. I couldn't believe it. After I dropped vehicle off, I called a place down the road and it was 300.00.. I questioned them about cost when I went to pick vehicle up. The guy behind counter said a fuel filter alone cost 400.00. Well, I googled it, and I could have gotten a fuel filter offline from 79.00 to 129.00. I hope they enjoyed my 625.00. They wont ever see another red cent of mine. Thats just taking advantage of people.
Taylor’s service writers (people who answer the phones and communicate with the techs) are top notch. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been above and beyond my expectations.
I’ve taken my car here twice, and this is where the stars have fallen. First time I came in with a broken CV axle. It was a clearly visible and straightforward repair. I was disappointed that I was still charged a diagnostic fee, even though it was clear what the problem was. The repair was done very quickly which I appreciate, and it was done well. Because of the first repair being done so well, when my accessory pulleys started acting up, I took my car to Taylor’s a second time.
Accessory pulleys are hard to diagnose, is it the water pump? Alternator? I thought they would use a mechanics stethoscope- but apparently they didn’t. During my first visit the service tech mentioned that my water pump may need replacing and that it was the culprit of my loud engine, so I wasn’t too surprised when it was “officially” diagnosed when I brought it in the second time. I had them replace the part. It only took ~$800 and a few hours. But when I drove away my car still had the same sound- even though the service writer had said that the noise was still there and blamed my AC compressor they wrote down the sound was resolved after the work was done.
About a week later when I was driving home from work, my car died while I was driving it. After a friendly motorist jumped my car, I looked in the engine bay and saw my alternator pulley wobble like the dickens.
I made it home and changed the alternator myself. No more noise. My ac compressor? She’s as cold as ever, practically silent. I bet my water pump was working fine too.
Long story short: Don’t take your car here to get diagnosed. They do a good job fixing what is broken, but only if you know for sure what is broken. Solid work, poor diagnostic skills. Prices are upfront and they’re going to charge you what they quote you— but I think my trust is broken from the water pump repair they did on my car. I don’t believe that I actually needed that part replaced after learning it was the alternator.

I bought a truck from CarMax (mistake, please don’t do it) and took it back twice for tire and alignment issues. After the second time and it still driving terribly, I took it to Taylor’s and they had me fixed the same day. They are friendly, reliable, and honest people who do good work! Thank you for taking care of me and getting rid of my headache!

It’s not often you find a business that makes you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk through the door, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at Taylor’s.
Hannah, Micah, and Kyle are incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. They greet everyone with a smile and make you feel like more than just a customer. What really stood out to me was that even the mechanics coming in from the shop took the time to smile and say hello. That kind of kindness and respect isn’t something you see everywhere, and it speaks volumes about the people who work there.
You can tell this team truly cares about their customers and takes pride in what they do. They know their stuff, they’re honest, and they go the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of. It’s refreshing to find an auto shop you can trust, and I’m so grateful I found Taylor’s. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and genuinely wonderful people.

The younger gentleman who helped fix the flat on my zero turn mower was awesome. The lady at the counter was also awesome. Everything went well until the mower wouldn’t start and the techs had the roll up door open waiting on me to move the mower outside. This made the tech with the long white beard mad and he came at me in a very rude and condescending manner. It’s a shame how one
Person who has no customer service skills can in less than minute create a bad customer service experience. I would have given a 1-star but the other two individuals did such an awesome job, I didn’t feel it would be fair to them.
