  I brought my car in for new front brake pads and was quoted $250. They told me the job would take about an hour, so I went home to wait. Two and a half hours later, I called to check on the status, but they hadn't even started working on it because they were waiting to try and upsell me to new rotors and brake pads for around $800. I declined the additional work, and they finished the original brake pad replacement in about 30 minutes. That was pretty frustrating, but I did receive the service I requested and paid exactly what I was originally quoted, so I don't feel it's fair to rate them lower than 3 stars.

  I had a great experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes. Vic helped me out by patching my tire, and the whole process was quick, easy, and professional. He was friendly, honest, and made sure everything was taken care of so I could get back on the road safely. It’s hard to find customer service like that these days. I really appreciate the help and definitely recommend this location. Thanks again, Vic!

  Came in for a brake change. Was told I could have them replaced and given a quote for 500$. Seemed steep, but I figured I’d check the receipt to figure out why. Turned out they replaced both of my brand new rotors with minimal wear, without mentioning it or asking. Then I was told it was for the warranty that comes with it. Felt incredibly scummy, not even mentioning the up selling they always try. They turned a 15 minute task into an hour because they wanted to try and squeeze money from a customer. Also, the car was filthy inside with the grime off their hands. This wasn’t the case until I asked them to take the rotors off and put the old ones back on. Petty. 11am appointment for July 9th.

  I will not be back. I had a scheduled appointment at 8 AM. Didn’t get done until almost 1030. Watch the guys working on my truck sit around and shoot the crap. My truck was the first truck to get serviced. Once everything was done and I finally got my truck back two hours later and started going down the road. I noticed that my tires was not inflated nowhere near what they’re supposed to be. I would not recommend this company. Find someplace else.

  Absolutely terrible experience with Mavis. I brought my car in for nothing more than a TPMS sensor replacement, and they managed to turn a simple job into a complete disaster. When I got my car back, there was a hole in my rear quarter panel, a lug nut had been stripped so badly that they couldn't even remove the wheel, and the situation became such a mess that they had to send my vehicle to another shop. Because of their negligence, I was forced to buy a new wheel spacer, and now my rim is damaged as well. It's unbelievable that I trusted them with a basic tire service and ended up with body damage, wheel damage, and additional expenses that never should have happened. Not once did I expect to leave with my vehicle in worse condition than when I arrived. The level of carelessness and lack of accountability is unacceptable. A TPMS sensor replacement should be one of the most routine services a shop performs, yet Mavis somehow managed to damage multiple parts of my vehicle in the process. I am beyond frustrated and would strongly advise anyone who cares about their car to think twice before bringing it here
