  Proceed with CAUTION Left multiple messages with no replies. Wanting to purchase a car they have advertised but was informed they can’t sell because of a part recall. There is no known estimate on when it can be fixed. It’s decidedly deceptive for them to even have active on their site. Despite that they want to “work with me and be their Volvo dealer”. Ok. I inquired about trading in my car. Their offer was fair (+) but still no resolution on when I can take possession on the new one. “Let me get an answer.” It’s been a month and a few days, no resolution or response. It’s now time to look at other options. When I look at trade in this dealership overstated my mileage by 15%!!! Now there is an error on my car fax and vehicle history because of this. Beyond unpleasant. No reply is one issue. The deception of sales tactics is concerning. Now the direct and negative outcome of the improper and incorrect filing of my current car is beyond explanation. True to their history, I have attempted to contact the dealer and management, no call back. I would encourage anyone to buy a Volvo, great car! I would also discourage anyone but a car from this particular dealership. Management can make this right by simply fixing my filing and calling me back, and this review is removed. If you are reading this, you are aware of their decision to this point. Proceed with extreme caution

  Traveled from Charleston to this dealership to purchase a used 2018 Infiniti QX50.Upon arrival the sales person started car and drove it over to where I was standing immediately I heard a noise that sounded like one of the rear tires did not move when the other three did.I got in the vehicle the radio was turned up and was only allowed to test drive around the parking lot of the dealership. My daughter who was sitting in the back seat asked for the radio to be turned down.When we got out my daughter asked me if I heard the noise coming from the rear of the vehicle I told her I did.The car also had a mildew smell inside a Crack in the panoramic sunroof and damage to the body of the vehicle as well.After numerous calls and texts from them to get me there to purchase this vehicle? Shame On You!!! Women Beware!!!

  This dealership is excellent! We worked with Stephanie and Aaron who are both extremely professional and friendly! There was no pressure from the get go and they went out of their way to help us purchase the car that we had our eye on. All of the staff that we encountered during our purchase were all knowledgeable and friendly as well! A great experience all around!

  I visited Volvo Cars Hilton Head after seeing advertisements promoting special financing opportunities and offers for customers needing help getting into a vehicle. As someone actively trying to rebuild my credit and better my situation, I walked in hopeful and ready to do business. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and honestly felt discriminatory based on appearance and financial status. My original salesperson, Payten, seemed inexperienced and unsure throughout the process. Then Aaron, who appeared to be a finance or sales manager, stepped in with an attitude that completely changed the atmosphere. Instead of feeling welcomed as a customer, I felt judged the moment they realized my credit wasn’t perfect. The energy shifted fast. What made the situation even worse was the environment around the sales desks. The boys sitting around the desk area were making corny little jokes and side comments that clearly referenced my situation. Whether they thought it was funny or not, it came across as immature, judgmental, and extremely unprofessional. Customers can feel when they’re being talked about, laughed at, or looked down on. What stood out most was how obvious it felt that this dealership caters only to people who already “look” wealthy. If you walk in wearing a work uniform or don’t fit the country-club image, expect to be treated differently. Advertising programs for credit-challenged buyers and then making people feel small when they actually come in is misleading and unprofessional. I understand dealerships have lending requirements, but customer service costs nothing. There’s a respectful way to speak to people who are trying to improve their lives. I left feeling embarrassed, stereotyped, and completely turned off from ever doing business here again. I would strongly encourage management at Volvo Cars Hilton Head to review how customers are treated based on socioeconomic appearance and credit status. Nobody deserves to feel looked down on while trying to purchase a vehicle.
