  Horrible experience. Dropped truck off at 8, didn’t get it back until 12:30. Just wanted a simple oil change and tire rotation. Said they couldn’t change the oil because of an oil leak, when mavis at other locations have zero issue changing it, it’s a minor leak. Didn’t rotate tires, pick it up and drive home, notice they never even shut the hood properly or put the oil fill cap back on, oil went all over the engine bay now and is low, I wouldn’t let these guys sharpen my pencil. 0/10 recommend

  I’ve been here a couple of times before and never had any problems, but today was by far my worst experience. I made an appointment for 9:00 AM and arrived at 8:30. As I’m writing this, it’s 10:50 AM, and I’m STILL here for something as simple as having a tire repaired. Honestly, it felt like they forgot about me. When I finally went to find out what was taking so long, the employees were all in the hangar talking to some girls instead of taking care of customers who had been waiting. I was extremely aggravated. The guy who checked me in eventually had to ask another employee to go get my car. I would have left, but I was going out of town and really needed my tire fixed. UPDATE: After waiting two hours and thirty minutes for a flat tire repair, the situation got even worse. When I finally spoke with the manager, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he was extremely rude, called me “privileged,” and cursed at me. I asked him three times who the general manager was, and each time he said he didn’t know. Then, as he was walking back in after getting my work order, he said—and I quote: “I can’t stand rude ass customers.” I have no problem understanding that businesses get busy, and I would have been much more understanding if someone had simply communicated with me about the delay. But waiting 2½ hours for a simple tire repair and then being spoken to this way by the manager is completely unacceptable. I’ve been here before without any issues, but after today’s experience, I will definitely not be returning. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect, even when there is frustration on either side. Y’all really need to do better.

  New tires on the Minivan. Drove from NY to Hilton Head. Picked up a screw Monday afternoon and destroyed one. Ordered new tire and scheduled replacement for Tuesday afternoon. Everything went as planned. The staff here were very friendly and they had our Van ready when promised. Thank you for great service.

  Awful shop. Called in the day before specifically to make sure they had time to put 4x new tires on my truck, and with it being a Tesla to make sure they could still do it. They confirmed they both had availability, and could still do it with it being a Tesla (is quite literally no different than changing tires on a normal/gas vehicle, jack the car up and unscrew the lug nuts). I dropped it off, waited for 2 hours, came back to get my vehicle with the old tires still on the vehicle. They came out and said they didn’t feel “safe” jacking it up (again, no different than jacking a regular vehicle) and that they’d been trying to call me- I have had 0 missed calls all day so that was a flat out lie. Pulled off here to do this in the middle of a road trip, wasted 2 hours of my time, and got no heads up until I was supposed to be coming back to a completed vehicle. Don’t tell a customer you can do something then waste their time with no communication.

  I had an outstanding experience at Mavis Tire. Kaylen (Cailen) and Tyrell went above and beyond while rotating my tires. What should have been a simple tire rotation turned into an hour-and-a-half job because several of my lug nuts were damaged and needed to be replaced. They worked on my car for an hour and a half without ever making me feel rushed or like it was an inconvenience. When everything was finished, I was pleasantly surprised when they handed me my invoice and told me there was no charge because tire rotations are included when you purchase your tires from Mavis. I was genuinely blown away—not just by the quality of their work, but by the professionalism, honesty, and outstanding customer service they showed. It’s rare these days to find a business that takes such great care of its customers. I highly recommend Mavis Tire, and I especially want to thank Kaylen and Tyrell for an exceptional experience. They’ve definitely earned my future business. Joe Kirkland
