  Absolutely horrible service, workers were rude and I waited 45 minutes for my car to be seen because they “couldn’t find the inspector” after my inspection I asked them why my check engine light was on and they responded with “I don’t know we didn’t check” seemed lazy and careless won’t be going back

  If you're thinking about taking your vehicle to Monro Muffler in Woonsocket, I strongly encourage you to reconsider based on my experience. On 7/21, I brought my car in for a routine oil change. Less than five minutes after leaving, my car overheated. When I checked the oil, there wasn't a drop in it. After adding oil myself, it was still overheating. They towed my car back on 7/22. I didn't receive a call until 7/25, when I was told the issue was an oil sensor that had blown due to their mistake. I picked up my car that day, but once again, it didn't even make it five minutes before overheating. They towed it back again on 7/26. Since then, getting any updates has been nearly impossible. My calls were repeatedly avoided, so I contacted corporate. When I still wasn't getting answers, I called corporate again on 7/29. After I said I would be picking up my car and taking it to a reliable shop to fix the problem, the lady got mad and hung up. Today I went to the shop in person. They had no answers, no updates, and couldn't even tell me the status of my vehicle. When I asked for my key, they told me they didn't have it and they could not give it to me. The police ended up being called because of the situation and miraculously found my key. Officers were in agreement and definitely said there was more going on that the shop was withholding to be doing all of this. While I was there, another customer was also complaining that a muffler installed by the shop had fallen off. DO NOT ALLOW LUIS OR LARRY WORK ON YOUR CAR. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with an auto repair shop. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I've been dealing with. Based on my experience, I recommend avoiding Monro Muffler in Woonsocket and taking your vehicle somewhere you trust instead.

  Appointment sat a certain time. 3 employees talking, was 30 mins late starting my inspection. After inspection was done, took then 20 mins to cash me out. They were not working on any cars in the bays

  I called to make an appointment for same day oil change. I was happy to get it within 2hrs of calling. It was the quickest visit to a garage ever. I wasn't pressured into fixing or buying anything else. I would definitely go back.
