Overall amazing experience, especially after beginning legal procedures from another employee of another location who stole my parts. It is all in black and white but my local hometown store really showed out today and answered ALL my questions! Cool people, go here over the other north RI trash locations just saying lol

Second time this has happened with advanced auto I would give zero stars if I could .

What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
