I hardly ever post negative reviews (check my profile) but I feel this one is necessary. My wife and I own a boat. We slipped it at Safe Harbor Wickford Cove N. Yard this year. It will be the first year here for us. We got the boat into the slip and a few weeks later, we brought our dinghy down. We launched it at Wilson’s Park and brought it over to our boat. I called the main office to make sure it was OK for us to leave our 10’ long inflatable dinghy trailer in the parking lot, to which a woman said yes. She asked us to put it by the bathroom trailer so we did. 10 or so minutes later we get a call from a woman named Kim. In a horribly mean and arrogant way, she said we couldn’t leave the trailer there that the parking lot (I was standing in) was full (it wasn’t) and that there weren’t enough spaces in the swing season to do that. Kim told me to bring my trailer home, or leave it in a park. I explained to her that we’re from Worcester, Massachusetts, and bringing it home wasn’t an option. Again, in rather mean, and arrogant way, she said that I’m putting her in a very difficult spot and that she’s gonna allow it once, but that was it, and it would NEVER happen again (in a loud, demeaning, toned voice). She went on to say that I’m asking for forgiveness versus permission. I explained to her or at least tried to explain to her while she was over talking me that I had already called and got permission to do this. She then stated that the woman that gave me permission didn’t have the authority to do so. When I asked to speak to her general manager (at 3:45 on a Friday afternoon) she said absolutely not. We’re closing at four and he’s on the phone. To which I replied please have him call me before he goes home. Needless to say, the GM called me at 4:22p. I asked him how his day was going to which he replied great, just trying to run out the door to get to my son‘s graduation. I told him to enjoy his weekend and we’ll talk Monday. I own a 5 star google rated business myself. I understand customer service very very well. There was absolutely no reason for her to talk so demeaning, arrogantly and disrespectfully to me like I wasn’t the customer who paid $10,000 for a boat slip. If a slip for a 40 foot boat wasn’t so hard to come by, and we didn’t love Wickford so much, we would be leaving this boat yard and smashing this experience all over the web. * AFTER WE MEET WITH THE GM ON MONDAY I WILL UPDATE THIS POST. *UPDATE: After speaking with Emily (the manager of safe harbor wickford cove), she apologized about the rough combative attitude Kim hit us with Friday and assured us the was no hard feelings on there side. Still a bad taste in our mouths but we'll see how the summer moves forward.

Best fuel price in the area and the service we received was stellar. We called ahead knowing that we would be at the fuel dock for a while and the space to maneuver our boat was doable, but limited. We were able to coordinate with the staff and let them know when we were at the breakwater (about 10 minutes out) to ensure that the fuel dock was available and would be when we got there. Not only was the staff cheerful, they were waiting for us ready to catch our lines and help us with the fuel and water hoses. I would recommend stopping by this marina. Paying with cash is often cheaper than using a credit card (as there is a 3% fee when paying with a card). The facilities were clean, but for us what is important is the customer service and this team was spot on.

Had a survey haul out last week. Things were done in a timely manner and i felt that for what they charged it was a very good deal. Everyone there was very nice, facility was spotless. Bathrooms were cleaner than most nice hotels!!! Would highly recommend.
