  They called me twice to go over a couple things to let me know what was being added, in this case a couple filters, and my car was ready before lunch. Excellent work as always.

  We went to Newport to celebrate my daughter's birthday. While we were looking for parking, we heard a horrible sound coming from the car, sounded like something with the brakes. I called Sullivan Tire as they had a decent rating and we aren't from the area. He told me over the phone to bring it down and theyll take a look at it. It was a Monday for the record. We brought the car and asked for an approximate time for them to take a look, he wouldn't even give me an estimate, but I asked to please give me an idea so we could plan accordingly, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, etc. this was only for him to give an assessment. He said maybe an hour, and wasn't happy about it. I was SOL and instead of ubering to the mansions to begin our day, we opted for back to school shopping at Old Navy across the way. 1 hour and 45 minutes later, we head back across the street to inquire about the car. We wait for another 10 minutes while the same guy (who sadly may be the owner), sits behind the desk with no sense of his surroundings. We are just being ignored. I don't want to ask if there is an update because I am trying to be polite and he told me he would let us know when they have had a look. I finally ask and he tells me he will be with me in a minute, just needs to check something. Ok. 5 minutes later and I'm told your brakes are fine to ride home, they do need to be replaced but it doesn't have to be today but if I wanted it to be, they could do the job for $1200, 50% of that in labor. I said no thank you, he charged me $50 for the assessment and said my car would be ready in a moment. We waited another 40 minutes to have our car returned to us. I had to ask for an update after 30 minutes and then at 35 minutes demanded for our car to be returned to us, I let the desk know the car was still up on the lift with the tires off and three people just sitting in the garage. We had an amazing time despite their horrible service but if you are in Newport and something happens to your car, do not go to this place, they do not care about the customers that walk through their door. It does look like the kind of place that used to be run very well, probably by the guys dad and Mom or grandparents, but the shine is gone.

  I went here today because I was concerned about my tire possibly having a leak. Duane was extremely helpful and kind and did NOT take advantage and try and up sell me. He is very honest which is rare to find. I was in and out in about an hour. I will be coming back here for tire services

  I’m a first time customer and probably the last time i come to this store unfortunately I didn’t spend over 1k on tires just to be talked down to by manager I bought a set of AT tires 🛞 for my truck I went a size bigger on tires i realize that’s on me because I had bigger tires put on love the tires I only asked about return policy and if I could maybe go down one size he was absolutely rude and talked talked down to me saying this isn’t an experiment absolutely ridiculous 🤡 I only asked a simple question because wasn’t sure how there 30 day policy worked i will be taking my business elsewhere place is a joke this guy should be fired !
