- Y小燕子YanziAug 24, 20261.0Finger weg von diesem Parkplatz! Betrügerische Abzocke! Lasst euch nicht von der großen Beschilderung täuschen: Am Eingang wird groß und deutlich mit einem Preis von 15 $ pro Stunde geworben. Bei der Ausfahrt wird man dann eiskalt abgezockt. Obwohl wir nicht einmal eine Viertelstunde geparkt hatten, verlangte der Mitarbeiter an der Schranke plötzlich mehr als 30 $. Begründung: Es gäbe eine angebliche Mindestparkdauer von 2 Stunden. Einen entsprechenden Hinweis darauf findet man lediglich extrem klein gedruckt erst bei der Ausfahrt – absolut unauffällig und erst beim Bezahlen sichtbar. Das ist gezielte Täuschung und pure Abzocke der Kunden. Hier parke ich definitiv nie wieder! Dieses Ereignis hat unseren an sich schönen Aufenthalt in Newport komplett ruiniert. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder!

Spent 16 minutes trying to find parking then a sign was put out saying a lot was full and I had to pay $32.10 to leave because the policy is anything over 10 minutes you have to pay, I never seen that sign. I called the corporate office to try to get reimbursed. It was a no go. Be careful if you try to park here so many cars and so many people walking around. I don’t think I will go back to Rhode Island again.
