After being charged almost $400 for an oil change on my Camaro at Hurd in Johnston, RI. I figured I give these guys a shot. Was told only special technicians can do an oil change on camaros and that It would take months on a waiting list. Are all chevy dealerships this bad?
I have been buying cars here at Paul Masse for 15+ years. They never fail to disappoint. The vehicles just get better and better over time. The non-aggressive approach is appreciated. I have come to trust everyone from sales to the service department. I want to make special mention of Sam Desousa and Nick Stamatakos who go above and beyond with their customer service for routine maintenance and repairs, Nick knows me by name and always has a smile no matter what may be happening in his day. Many people avoid using dealerships for repairs and maintenance however I have the most confidence that whatever services are recommended is not to make money for the dealership but to keep my vehicle running efficiently and safely. Sam Desousa is an amazing asset to the Paul Masse team, he keeps in touch with you long after you purchase your vehicle, and he is always thinking about what new vehicles may better fit your needs.... the upgrades I have made over the years have never disappointed me, its also given me the confidence to refer many more friends and family to Paul Masse.

As a disabled veteran, my experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing.
Within the first three months of purchasing a vehicle for approximately $35,000, I was forced to make multiple repairs that cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket. The vehicle needed suspension work shortly after purchase, and despite calling the dealership more than 15 times and sending emails, I received no meaningful response. Nearly six months later, I still have not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution.
When I contacted the service department, I was asked whether I had purchased an extended warranty. I was shocked that the proposed solution was to use a warranty I paid for to repair issues that existed on a vehicle they had just sold me.
To make matters worse, my vehicle’s registration was reportedly mishandled, costing me $250, and five months later I found myself having to register the vehicle again because the registration had expired.
I attempted to speak with Paul Massey directly regarding these issues, but my calls were not returned and my emails went unanswered. I was left with repair bills, registration problems, and no assistance from the dealership.
Because my concerns were ignored, I am now faced with the burden of pursuing legal action to recover my losses and hold the dealership accountable. Whether my experience is an isolated incident or part of a larger pattern, I cannot say. What I can say is that after spending $35,000 on a vehicle, I did not expect to immediately face costly repairs, poor communication, and a complete lack of customer service.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.
Excellent At It All
All Departments well trained and friendly
Old school values from a family owned business
For 30 Years Sales Manager DerekThistle has Always done whatever was needed to help me purchase the vehicle I wanted at a price that was right for me. From Camaro’s, to Corvette’s, Tahoe’s, Pick ups and more
their attention to detail has kept me coming through their door.
Service is excellent as they retain great consultant professionals who are knowledgeable and friendly while the work is always done right the first time. Many dealerships seem to change service consultants and sales associates with the calendar. At Paul Masse Chevrolet it seems they retain their team by treating them as family! It shows.
Ty Paul Masse Chevrolet!

I bought my car in 2021 and never had a negative thing to say. Until about 10 months ago. I had the breaks and rotors done. They told me that they might squeal until they break in, fine. They squealed for sure, but 2 months later they said I probably had to drive it more, fine, but 4 months later they told me the brand I purchased are known for squealing and it should start to decrease. Now here we are 10 months later and the squeal that comes from these brakes is so obnoxious I have to bring them somewhere to be replaced. I won't be returning to Paul Masse.
