  Unfortunately, the car shakes very badly when you reach about 60 miles an hour. This is a nuisance and now because we have left Rhode Island. I have to find a new mechanic in Connecticut. I feel very disappointment with the service I received.

  We had the best possible experience here. On our way to an appointment in Boston, we learned that some part of the undercarriage was hanging low but not touching the road. We got off the Broadway exit, stopped at Monroe Muffler of East Providence. Ryan and Matt quickly diagnosed the problem, told us what they could do, made it happen in about 5-10 minutes and we were on our way. When we gave a tip to the crew he said it was too much and insisted on declining some of it. Could not ask for a friendlier, more efficient or more integrity filled service. Thank you Ryan, Matt and Jose!

  I called for a state vehicle inspection and was told to come in 45 minutes. When I arrived I was told they were too busy and whomever I spoke to was just wrong. I was booked for 8am the next morning and was going to be turned away again because there is a hitch on my car. After explaining my frustration they said I could leave it and they would get to it later in the day. Disorganized. But at least the 2nd guy was apologetic and tried to be accommodating. Also another guy was complaining about a customer who had just left to all of us in the waiting area. Unprofessional. I wanted to like Munroe bc they are so close to my house but I won't go there again.

  I made an appointment to bring my car in for a simple inspection. Day of, I show up on time and the guy at the front said "oh, well the inspector just left" and indicated that it's his first day doing inspections. So what did I make an appointment for? I left my car, said I'd be back later. I get a call from the guy and he said it was a fail because my headlights were too dim. I compared them to my wife's car (which passed an inspection the same day, but elsewhere) and hers were WAY WORSE. Fine. I clean mine up and bring it back. The same guy, I believe his name is Ryan, gave my grief about the plate bracket being too large and it should have been a fail....ok....so then I finally get the sticker and go to my car that's been working on and he had left the lights on (for a good hour from the time he called to say the inspection was complete). What is wrong with this friggin guy? He busted by chops about stupid shit and then makes a really dumb mistake with NO apology. I recommend avoiding this location, there are plenty other mechanics/state inspectors in the area.

  Technicians and service manager are always thorough and friendly. Suggestions for further maintenance appreciated. Wait times can get a little long for an oil change, so leaving the car is the option I take.
