  I’ve been coming here for years. The service was okay but dealing with Eric was uncomfortable. He seemed very angry and short with me. Even the customer at the next bay asked Eric if he was okay and said he was being short to him (Eric didn’t respond to that). It was very off putting and made me want to leave and not add on any extra services. I was told I need a new battery but then Eric never asked if I wanted to do it or the price. Very strange interactions. Will try another location next time.

  Horrible service I waited 45 minutes. They told me that I would be next and allowed someone to go in before me and came back to my car and said it would be 20 more minutes. I came on my lunch hour very very frustrating. I will never go back!!! .

  They were nice but seemed to be rushing to get me out. They didn’t show or tell me about my battery. Didn’t offer to check my tire pressure like they normally do. At the end didn’t show me the dip stick of the oil also like they normally do. Just seemed rushed.

  I took my diesel truck to Valvoline in Tigard on Scholls Ferry Rd. today around 5:00 PM for a routine oil change and did not leave until approximately 6:30 PM. What should have been a simple service turned into a frustrating and concerning experience. The technician working in the upper bay appeared extremely disorganized throughout the process. While removing the oil filter from the top of my engine, he repeatedly struggled and actually hit my truck twice with the wrench being used to remove the filter. Dropping tools on a customer’s vehicle is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of care and professionalism. The problems continued when the new oil filter was installed incorrectly, causing oil to spill throughout my engine compartment. Another technician had to step in, remove the filter, and install a replacement. At this point, I can only hope the filter was finally installed correctly. As a result of the mistakes, there was oil left on my hood, along the side of my truck, and throughout the engine bay. I was told it was cleaned with water, but that does not change the fact that my vehicle was covered in oil due to technician error. What concerns me most is the overall level of confusion and lack of organization during the service. I noticed that the diesel oil and regular motor oil appeared to be stored in very similar containers, and given the number of mistakes made during my visit, I am genuinely concerned about whether the correct oil was even put into my truck. I paid $156 for this service and left with damaged confidence in the work performed, concerns about my vehicle, and frustration over how unprofessional the entire experience was. Between the tools hitting my truck, the improperly installed oil filter, the oil leakage throughout the engine compartment, and the overall lack of attention to detail, this was one of the worst oil change experiences I have had. I would strongly recommend better technician training, improved quality control, and greater care when working on customers’ vehicles.
