The quote for diagnostic service was exactly as quoted given the nature of the car problem I reported. The results were accurate and the estimated cost of repairs reasonable.Particularly because with the repairs I get more years of good use out of my 24 year old car!

New to the area and we needed to get a tune up and oil change. This shop was close by. We happened into the office to chat with the service writer about costs and time frame. They were able to service the car the following day, so we left it there for the night. Then they called us before closing and were able to get the vehicle done that same day we dropped it off. Excellent turn around and the car was MUCH happier after some new plugs and a coil. I have experience in the auto industry and would say the pricing was a tad higher than I'm use to.. but was happy to pay for quality and efficiency.

I would give zero stars if I could. 1st week of February I brought my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax diesel to the shop due to high oil pressure. After a little over a week was informed it was my oil pressure sensor. Approved to replace at the price of $410.74. After a few more days the replacement was complete after getting the run around about part delivery. oil pressure was still high. Was told they were going to “look into it”. It was over a week before I heard from anyone and after I reached out multiple times for updates, was told they had never seen this issue before and were baffled, meeting together as a team to figure things out. I was ultimately advised that the only thing that would make sense was an engine restoration service since the only explanation could be something slugging up the system. Agreed to the engine restoration service for $662.76. This took over another week and was completed on 2/20/2026 and oil temp was back down to normal. Was told the following Monday, 2/23/2026, truck will be started and checked to make sure all was good. 2/24/26 we were informed temp was “in spec”, still a little high but safe to drive, come and pick it up. Upon driving it home, oil pressure was still very high so we didn’t drive it anymore after that. We attempted to return to have the issue remedied and were ignored further, and then eventually told they would need to pull the whole engine out, to the tune of $4,000. Also noticed new leak in the front that wasn’t there before. So we paid a total of $1201.22 in service while the truck was there for 21 days, and absolutely nothing was fixed. We were told the “engine restoration” service would be refunded. Vaughn now denies this was said at all. It’s been confirmed that the new leak in the truck was caused by the “mechanic” at Le Doux.

We brought our vehicle in to have a leak repaired, and since then we have experienced issues that were not present beforehand. After being told the vehicle was ready, my husband almost got into an accident leaving their lot because the brakes were not functioning properly due to the brakes apparently not being bled correctly after the repair. We brought the vehicle back immediately so that issue could be corrected. After picking the vehicle up again, the check engine light came on, which had never happened before. We had the code checked and were informed it was related to a catalytic converter hose. When we called the shop, we were told it was likely damaged during the previous repair because it is a fragile hose. We took the vehicle back again after being told they would fix the problem. The following day, we were told that the correct part could not be found and that the hose had instead been “taped up really good” and supposedly should not cause any issues. Unfortunately, by the very next day the check engine light came back on again. At this point, we are extremely frustrated and concerned about both the safety and reliability of our vehicle after these repairs.

Incompetent or Untrustworthy Took my Mazda in for a check engine light and AC not working. They fixed the check engine light by fixing a connection to the throttle body. It's three weeks later and my check engine light is back on so could have been something else go wrong. I would usually take it back for a follow up except what happened with the AC at their place. After spending more than $2K my AC was not working when I got home from the shop. They told me it was most likely the Evaporator Temperature Sensor and it would take 8 hours and $1500 to get to, replace, and put back together. I had a bad feeling so I took my car to another Mechanic and they told me the problem was plain as day within 1 hour of them having it. It was a hole in the AC Condenser. They then continued to tell me most of the work I was charged for might not have even been necessary if they had checked this first, like replacing the AC compressor clutch. I called Leadox's and asked if this was checked, and they said, yes, it's one of the first things they checked. OTHER mechanic had it done in a day and my AC is Arctic! Love it! To think I would have paid $1500 for the temperature sensor and then gotten a call from them saying, ACTUALLY, it looks to be this and it will be another $1000+ dollars to fix whatever was next. To say the least I am extremely frustrated and am left with two possibilities... Incompetence or knowingly doing work that wasn't needed. Either will keep me from returning.
