We were traveling from Montana back to California when our F-350, while pulling our RV, developed problems with the MAP sensor and an intercooler boost boot. The guys at the store were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. I want to give a huge shoutout to John Kimsrow at the Redmond AutoZone. My Tesla’s low voltage battery died and after jumping it I drove to the Madras store, who didn’t have the part but pointed me to Redmond. When I got there, John really took care of me. I gave him the part number and he went back to grab the batteries, but came back and told me honestly that he didn’t feel right selling them since they were 2 years old. I told him I’d rather just take the risk, so he ran a load test to check, and sure enough they had no charge left. Instead of just letting me leave with a bad battery, he called another store and got one held for me there. As I was about to leave, he ended up finding a comparable alternative for a better price (it worked, thanks John!). He easily could’ve just sold me what I originally asked for and been done with it, but he genuinely cared about making sure I drove away with something that actually worked. That kind of honesty and effort is hard to find, and it made a stressful evening so much easier. Thank you, John & Autozone team, you’re the best!
