    Majorly disappointed, had an issue with my driver's license not having a matching address. That was understandable but, they wouldn't accept my lease either. Without any recourse I asked for my 300$ back. They didn't refund it! They fought me to the point I gave up. I finally went through my bank and disputed the claim. No service, no pay. It's that simple. I was calm and collected and they wouldn't listen. Cover your butts people.

    When plans for using public transportation for a trip 30 minutes away fell through the day before a major holiday, they had a great car at a fair rate. The service provided by Brett was phenomenal. He even pointed out some side adventures that were on our way. The service, ease, and fair price will have us coming back there again.

    About once every few years I forget just how bad Sixt is, and decide to give them another chance. Surely they must have gotten better since last time? They never fail to surprise me, by getting worse. I can look past the constant up-charging and upselling. I can overlook the inhuman AI customer service rep with NO WAY to contact a local branch. And even the greasy and scratched up car that has to be switched out to a new one (wasting my time in the process). All of those things are par for the course in the industry, and Sixt is no better or worse than others. What kills me is the complete lack of thoughtful customer service that can turn a bad situation into a better one. The best companies are not those that make no mistakes - it's those that learn from them, and use problems as an opportunity to show humility and go above and beyond in rectifying them. Now if you take the complete opposite of that approach, you'll have Sixt in a nutshell. The specifics of my issue are that I specifically asked about after-hours dropoff, and the super-nice desk rep gave me very friendly instructions for where to leave the car, and where to drop off the keys. What the super-nice rep completely forgot to tell me was that this location DOES NOT in fact have after-hours dropoff, and there is no drop box. Imagine my surprise when I found no drop box! So either a lying or a misinformed rep. Fine, lets move on. Calling customer service line to resolve this - here's what could have happened: 1. Apologize! 2. Arrange alternative dropoff. 3. Have somebody pick up the keys. 4. Leave the car with me for an extra day (assuming I was still in town). 5. Offer to drive me home after I drop off the keys. 6. Offer a discount or an upgrade for the next time I rent, to compensate me for having to commute tk the location twice in two days. Take a wild guess of how many of those options were given to me. If yoir guess is 1 of 6, you're over. And thats where we are at. Inhuman customer service, lack of follow-up, and complete disregard for long-term relationships. Guessing who gets my service next time? Starts with an En, ends with terprise...

    Booked through AARP. Told all taxes and fees included. Get here and they want an extra $200. Then they want utility bills or else they won't rent to us. We didn't have the bills with us and were not told to bring any. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They are scammy.
