  GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE AND ATTENTIVE TO DETAILS. FROM FRONT STAFF TO INSTALLERS EVERYONE WAS PLEASANT AND MADE EVERYTHING GO SMOOTHLY. WOULD DEFINITELY PICK THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

  Do not use the Portland location. They canceled after confirming they were on their way. The manager, Franco Aroche, was rude and dishonest.

  It was refreshing to have a professional with great customer service drive to my home and do a great job replacing my car windshield. Most importantly I was informed of all that was being done and patient enough to answer my questions - thank for making me a satisfied customer.

  Technician was friendly. But I was not made aware of a $43 hidden recycling fee, until the technician showed up and told me about it once he was already at my front door. I was informed that he couldn't start till it was paid, even though I had already paid $490 upfront. The only problem was that I had already completely removed, cleaned, and desposed of my previous rear windshield before the appointment. The technician politely informed me that he had no way of waiving the fee, and it would have to be paid before he could start. I contacted Safelite but they were unable to reach the store manager, so I was told the I either had to pay to get the service done or tell the technician to leave since they couldn't waive it either. It just felt very deceptive and felt completely robbed. I shouldn't have to pay a premium price and still have to pay hidden fees un top of it. My local shop quoted me about to $200 dollars cheaper, but I decided to go with Safelite because I thought they were reputable. Never again will I use Safelite or recommend it to anyone I know.
