  I started renting with National about 10 years ago, since that time, I've had consistently top-notch customer service. From the timely, friendly welcome (including Emerald Club - skip the counter, go directly to pick up your car!) to the flexible drop off changes (if possible) to the efficient, friendly drop off crew that always asks for feedback, I've always been made to feel very appreciated as a customer. We simply won't rent with anyone else. Thank you, National, you are what other car rental agencies strive to be!

  National Car rental @ PDX was a decent experience. The walk Gate to Rental facility was pretty long, signage was good. Customer service was courteous and helpful to find our car. The only glitch was the car (VW Atlas) literally keeping us from moving to our next stop due to a 45m "software update" that "bricked" the car. We weren't late but weren't happy. Not a National issue but still an issue.

  Rented a car to be picked up at PDX. the car was clean and had ow miles. The only reason not five stars ended waiting for half a hour to get a car. they had cars but not enough workers to bring cars to the lot. When I received my car the line was double from when I had arrived. It seems to be happening more and more.

  Always fast and classy! Every time we rent, and we don’t use other brands anymore, our pick up is swift (no waiting in line), professional and all my choice! I recommend upgrading to their emerald or executive levels, because the service is unmatched! Drop off is a one person contact, printed receipt and you are off to the terminal. Any issues I have had have been resolved with one call and a smile.

  Honestly one of the smoothest rentals I've experienced. This was my first time renting through National and I reserved a car online and did not pay in advanced like I usually do with other rental agencies. I was a bit concerned about car availability or hidden fees, but the price was significantly lower then other options so I decided to take the risk. I arrived at the airport at 9am, there was no line at this time and the woman at the desk was pleasant. No hidden fees or surprises. There were plenty of good cars to pick from, we looked at a few because we wanted a car with wireless Android Auto. All of the cars we looked at were clean and low mileage. Returning the car was also easy.
