My spouse and I been taking our two cars here for years and have nothing but rave reviews for the amazing and thorough mechanics here. They get the cars in within a week or two, provide detailed reports and call to follow up. They ask before doing all repairs and give you advice if you need it or want it. Everyone there is EXTREMELY HONEST and NOT PUSHY at all!! The front desk staff are almost (or equally) as knowledgeable about cars as the mechanics - shout out to Kelly and Natalie 😇😇 Also love that the shop is very Lgbtq-friendly and Woman-owned. We moved out of the area and sold our cars, but otherwise have loved every interaction we've had here! If I could give 10 stars I would 😊😊😊

Very friendly and efficient for a DEQ Emissions test. If you call ahead they can find a time for you to stop by Tuesday to Thursday and it only takes 10-15 minutes, costs $20

10/10 would reccomend! Our car has lots of unique issues from being rebuilt and old, we are very happy with the quality and clarity of service we've gotten through this clinic. The online invoice is a slight learning curve coming from paper based mechanics but it is detailed and helpful at every stage of the repair and payment. They tackled our mystery problems thoughtfully and explained the diagnostics in a way that was easy to understand, we will definitely be back for advanced diagnostics and repairs in the future!

Front desk people are very nice and friendly. I had a truck overheat and brought it in on a tow, day of after calling them to confirm a spot to get it looked at and worked on two days after dropping it there. It sat for three days and then I got a call saying they pressure tested the engine and tightened the radiator hose and added 1/2 gallon of coolant. They said they didn't have the time to take it on the freeway to reproduce the overheating, but drove it around the block and found nothing wrong. Well the coolant was full in the reservoir when I got it towed in and I had the upper radiator hose replaced 2 weeks earlier and they said it was leaking. I was then sold a brake fluid flush (obviously so they made some money off me before pushing me out of the shop) which I got because you are supposed to trust a mechanic in your local community. After getting my vehicle back and spending $360+ for them driving it around the block and pressure testing the engine with a brake fluid flush and finding nothing wrong with the truck I drove it the next day and it overheated again..... I had to tow it to another shop which had it figured out in 45min. The thermostat was bad, the lower radiator hose was ballooned and leaking and when I asked if it appeared if my brake fluid was recently flushed they said it did not look like it. So I basically went to Hawthorne Auto clinic and spent around $360 for an engine pressure test and 1 hose clamped tightened and a magical 1/2 gallon of coolant... And was without a vehicle for 4 days. It seems mechanic shops these days will tell you they can look at your vehicle and work on it, but if they get another vehicle in that will make them more money they will push yours out without being fixed and prioritize the vehicles that can make them more money. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place anymore. My family has been using them on and off for many years and this time it felt pretty bad. I feel like I paid $360+ for literally nothing but a pressure test on the engine and 1 hose clamp tightened and 1/2 gallon of coolant. Seems a bit steep to me, not to mention it didn't fix a thing and the brake fluid flush was highly debated by my other mechanic who I also used for 20+ years.
