  The location told me if anything pops up for me to text them during my stay. Unfortunately in the middle of a very rural area I had a flat tire on my rental. I was able to put the donut on the vehicle. I was told by Enterprise that I could stop in at a Firestone or swap the vehicle out at the nearest Enterprise and they would be happy to do that. I visited a Firestone once I drove to civilization and Firestone told me that it would be several hours until we could be seen. I then went to a smaller airport to replace my vehicle and they told me they were short 50 vehicles that day and would be at least an hour and a half wait. Unfortunately, I did not have time to wait and would have thought at both places they would have treated this as urgent and a priority. Both places I was not. I then called another Enterprise to the destination that I was headed and they told me they had limited availability for cars, but were very reluctant to help me. It was only when I got upset and frustrated that said I could have the 1 vehicle they had to make a swap. I totally understand the flat tire was not Enterprise fault, but there were things that could have happened what I mentioned in order to make the situation right.

  Although I don't often rent a car, Enterprise is my go-to business. I have always been treated well by their staff, I have always had a good vehicle, and I find that their pricing is reasonable. This experience at PDX was definitely up to my expectations. The car was ready with no hassle when I arrived, and I was pleasantly surprised when I returned the car at 4:00 a.m. to be greeted by a very friendly woman who welcomed me warmly, checked the car and made sure the keys were in it, then wished me happy travels. It's nice to see a friendly face at 4:00 a.m.!

  Dan and Dami went out of their way to make sure my recent Enterprise experience was flawless. I don't know why anyone would bother with Hertz or Avis. Their customer service is non-existent when compared to Enterprise. Enterprise's check-in experience through the app is superior, Dan greeted me immediately, which is typical, he got me in the car I needed without hassle, again typical, and Dami checked me through the security gate. She acted as though I were a long, lost friend and even gave me a few pointers on how to navigate around Portland. Enterprise has never abandoned me like Hertz did, they've never billed me for fuel even though I returned the car with a full tank like Avis did on five occasions, and one of their associates has never stored my card info and started making personal purchases, like happened with Avis in Memphis. The return process was as easy and seamless as pick-up, even though it was 5 in the morning. Two friendly associates were there to check me in, help with luggage, and give me directions to the terminal. And I had a receipt in my email before I got to the terminal. Outstanding.

  I rented a Chrysler Pacifica for a 4 day family trip (5 people and a small dog) in the Portland Oregon /Washington state/ Columbia river gorge area The car was perfect. We used it a lot sampling a lot in the area. It was very comfortable and very new and well maintained. The service was great. I used the advance check-in so was able to go to the lot and given options on which car I could take. I was offered a gas refill package at a per gallon cost less expensive than the gas stations I passed in the area. The drop off was quite simple and quick I have rented from Enterprise several times in last couple of years and Enterprise has become my go to car rental company based on my consistently good experiences with Enterprise

  I reserved and checked-in online. Was denied 4 straight cars. Was upgraded. Car WREAKED with marijuana which gave me a pounding headache. I replied-back to the text messages twice, and email asking for feedback, FINALLY reached someone by phone. Was encouraged to come all the way back up to PDX to exchange. Settled on a lower-class car exchange in Salem. They were great and professional. Spoke with Morgan and Madison (?) on separate calls from PDX Enterprise assuring me (calls FROM THEM) that I receive a 1 day credit. Then, 2.5 days later, I returned the vehicle on time to PDX and the check-in attendant had no record of my promised credit. Spent more time there. Called in this morning to say, "Wow. You cannot record or communicate 2.5 days in advance that I am a disengaged customer and serve me better than that?". So, I am awarded what amounts to less than 1/3 of a free day in points, 500. Wow. Thanks a lot. You are blowing me away as a FORMER loyal Enterprise customer with 500 points. Between my texts, emails, calls (6) and the time to eventually exchange...I spend over 6 hours of my time - unappreciated, unremunerated.
