  I am a Gold Member that rents at least 20 cars per year with Enterprise and typically no issues. The Portland site didnt want to give me an upgrade which is typical but it is what it is. Oh well. The 2 star was simply for when I returned the car FULL, and went over the car with me and not finding any issues, they charged me for the fuel they said was not full. It was. The girl didnt know how to read the gauge on the Nissan or was looking at the Temp gauge. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I said that the email was fine. She NEVER mentioned the fuel level which would have been full but nope, just decided to charge me. Of course contacting the site in Portland cant be done, I had to call customer service and the overseas goob said oh well and will try to get it resolved. I called later and got someone in the good ole USA and she corrected the issue. Pretty low of the girl in Portland as she definetely got it wrong and made it difficult for me to get corrected. ALWAYS get a receipt before you leave! Part 2 - I called the number provided by Jean and after explaining the situation, the overseas customer service agent hung up after she said it was taken care of which was by me!! The Portland site needs to contact me or Enterprise corporate. Totally unacceptable method of dealing with your customer. RA 475625636.

  Rental was very easy with pickup at PDX! It was nice having an employee meet us out in the pickup area and walk us to a car. The airport was very busy and our car assigned was not in the lot. We were upgraded on the spot to a full size SUV at no extra charge. I am so glad I checked in online as that saved a lot of time by bypassing the counter that was quite hectic to finish the process I encourage that for anyone who has that ability. SUV worked perfectly and was a very comfortable full size Mitsubishi Outlander. The return and turn in was seamless and without any hassle.

  Had to pick my daughter up from school in Portland and bring her back to the Bay Area. When Jake, the manager at PDX, heard that, he upgraded me from a compact SUV to a mid-size SUV for free. Indeed I needed every inch of space for all the stuff she somehow accumulated over the year. So I am very thankful for him. And then the team at the San Rafael office are always excellent as well. I am a regular Enterprise renter because of them.

  Was in the business express line and instead of serving me next the man behind the counter asked the other man to come up & said I’ll get to you next. What is the purpose of the express line of you aren’t the next one served? I have thoughts about why this happened given our identities but who knows. Also the car I rented was trash… the back of it rattled horribly which I’m 100% for sure they knew after cleaning it and driving it to the lot. It’s extremely obvious and rattles immediately. It made the worst rattling sound but I was running late for a conference that day and didn’t want to be late. In the moment I thought it might’ve just been a one-off idle sound but it was not. Additionally they couldn’t find my reservation in the system so I had to create a new one. I’ve never had any of these experiences renting from an Enterprise and if I’m ever in Portland for business rent will choose one of our other business’ rental choices. Ridiculous!

  The rental went smoothly but the best thing was I accidentally left my personal keys in the rental and didn’t realize it for an hour. By this time the car had been moved and was getting cleaned for the next customer. To make a long story short. I got my keys back after talking to several really nice and helpful employees. None of them gave me the, “sorry to hear that, call this number (that only had a recording).” My keys were eventually found and delivered to a place where I could easily pick them up. Amazing.
