*CUSTOMER WARNING*
If I could leave ZERO star rating, I would!
I've never written a negative review, but felt compelled to do so with this issue.
I called Les Schwab in North Bend Thurs last week and made an appt for the following Mon @ 8am for a tire rotation and turning of the front rotors. When I called, I specifically asked if THIS WAS THE STORE I purchased my tires from a year ago and after hesitation, he responded YES. (found out, their linked system shows at which locations work was performed and purchases made, so they know) *(I'm not familiar with Coos and NB)
He quoted me $45 per rotor and said approx 3 hrs to do everything. So, Monday I drove up from Port Orford and arrived at 8 am. My appt was never put in their system. The guy at the counter (Leo) was trying to get to the bottom of who I spoke with for 15 minutes. They said I probably called the store in Coos. I showed the my call log showing 3 min's 33 sec's on the phone with THEIR N Bend Les Schwab number. (Long time for a conversation showing "he" (Kevin or Andrew) looked at their schedule to make my appt and the quote for the rotors).
They tried to sly me on getting just the rotation, and I said no, that I drove up from Port Orford with fuel costs and my time and I'd like the turning of the rotors as well, that's what I made the appt for. He said he'd have to check with Kevin (I'm assuming a manager) Kevin came over, same thing at first wanting to blame this on me until I showed the call log, told him the quoted prices that were given over the phone, etc.. Kevin then told the counter guy (Leo) to write up an appt and they would get to my truck at some point that day. I am now at their mercy for when they'll start on my truck. I don't know anyone in Coos/NB and would be stuck there all day. I asked Kevin how long it would take and he said they would get to it at some point. (mind you, I used a very pleasant tone and was nice for the 25 min, up until I walked out) Kevin in a rude condescending tone, kept asking, "do you want your truck done or not?" I said, I made an appt and now I'm being fit in where they can and it's probably going to take all day, again in rude condescending voice, "do you want the appt or not." This went back and forth and now, for sure I'll be sitting there the whole day.
This WASN'T my mess up, it was THEIRS!! I understand things happened on their end, but make it right! Meet in the middle, something! It's not like I live here and I can just schedule to come back the next day. Kevin was very rude, unprofessional and lacked the customer relation skills needed to run a business. They were dishonest on (clearly) stating to me that I purchased the tires there at their N Bend store, just so they could steal business from the Les Schwab in Coos. That alone speaks volumes of their honesty and integrity. Then pushed hard on it being MY FAULT!! I'm not one of those "grouchy entitled jack asses" that create issues.
I'm just a plain ol customer they tried to swindle and walk all over. I did say some inappropriate words when I walked out after the 25 minutes of customer shaming and blaming. I apologize for that.
Shame on you Kevin for HORRIBLY and RUDELY treating, the very people that pay your salary and put trust in the business you (manage) or work at.
I drove back south to the Les Schwab in Coos (here now). They were very accommodating and took care of my truck needs and me as a customer.
